If you are a landlord looking for true "Peace of Mind" Melissa and her team are the way to go!!!! A little about me I am an 22 year Active Duty Service member Navy who was super skeptical of renting my property and was gonna sell 5 years ago. In talking with a colleague he convinced me that owning a rental is a smart idea and can really generate some passive income. He referred me to Melissa at POM who simply bridged the gap and eased my stresses of becoming a landlord. Today, because of Melissa and her team I am a success, I was able to deploy overseas on two separate tours and leave my home in the palms of her teams "Golden Hands" The day I moved out I turned over keys to a 4 year renter and had "Zero" issues. In Nov 2021, I got the sad news my 4 year renters were moving out end of December. In one months time, Melissa and her team, turned my property over and had new renters placed to move in the beginning of Feb. "Simply amazing". In closing, all I can say is that Melissa is nothing but professional and truly cares. My responses her entire team are within minutes.     Kendale apartments…read more MICE lots of mice! Bad water pressure Slow to NO to fix things Laundry rooms are filthy and appliances never cleaned Glass missing and broken from windows. "Security" doors don't work and have actually trapped people inside. No dependable maintenance, better not have an emergency! No storage in unit and assigned storage units are filthy and exposed to mice and other crawling things. Before Stork took over it was almost worth the $ because they were the cheapest around. Now Stork is in and it's a mess with half a$$ improvements that really aren't improments and the rent has gone from $935 to $1250.

    If I could give a NEGATIVE star somehow I would. My mother has lived in these apartments for OVER…read more15 years. Her apartment is LITERALLY falling apart. The cabinets are not secured to the wall. There is BLACK MOLD all over the bathrooms and kitchen. The tiles in the kitchen are coming up and cuts peoples feet. The pool in the yard was taken from her and demolished lessening the property value but increased her rent. Every chance they can raise or tack on a fee they try to do so. The garage had a porch over it that she is not able to use as the cement is caving in with pieces falling all over her car damaging it. She had a RAT INFESTATION due to the businesses leaving the doors open below her. They came in and she could hear the rats fighting and screeching all through the night in and out of her room. She kept calling and they FINALLY sent someone out and they told her that it was mice. I have pictures to prove that is NOT MICE AT ALL! They told her it was handled, did not clean it up for her. Upon cleaning and removing some things I discovered the infestation is HORRIBLE. I am very sick after cleaning and helping her. My mother has been in such poor health recently and now it all makes sense. Now after 15 years they are trying to force her out but cutting off the A/C during a HEATWAVE while my mother and sister are BOTH disabled and they were having issues breathing. My mother is a 3 time cancer survivor and they do not care and have NOT DONE a SINGLE thing to help her with the issues in that house. Her rent has increased DRAMATICALLY even though she is not able to use her yard, her porch, her garage, and half the kitchen. Oh lets not forget that her doors do not lock so she has to rely on a metal pole to secure her door from being opened in the middle of the night. Mind you this area is not the safest out there at all. This is disgusting and against the law not to mention inhumane to have someone who pays $1500 a month for an apartment that is barely able to be used.

    My experience with Rentwell has changed dramatically. There are a number of things that have been…read moredisturbing. This review will only address the most recent incident. I am an out of state landlord and Rentwell is responsible for obtaining the payment of the water bill from the tenant. The unpaid water bill was previously over $700. I paid it and have been waiting to be reimbursed. I was patient because I understood that there were problems with the City of Baltimore's Billing Dept. That was in April of 2019. Now my water bill is nearly $900. I have read numerous horror stories about people in Baltimore losing their homes due to unpaid utility bills. I have been sending emails and calling regarding the most recent bill since October of 2019 . It is now December and I have received no response. I still don't have information regarding the over $700 water bill paid previously. One of my closest friends purchased an apartment building as an investment property in Baltimore. She asked me about my experience with Rentwell. I will post the same information here that I shared with her, " If you are not a local landlord that can check on your property regularly, I would go with another company." If anyone, preferably an out of state landlord, can refer a property management company that is responsive to emails and phone calls, please post the company information.
