In reply to Mr. Humphries. He did call me this morning 6-17-16 and told me he suspected my technician of taking $100.00 from the console of his vehicle. He was in my shop 8 days prior, on 6-9-16. I know the character of that technician and do not believe he would have done that. Mr. Humphrie's insistence for me to give him the $100.00 did not sit well with me. I told him I would go through my security tape and see if I saw my tech rifling through his console. He threatened to make a case of this on "social media". I was working alone today and it was a few hours before I had the time to look at the recording and there was no evidence of any such thing. (There is a camera overlooking the bay). Before I even had the opportunity to call him back, I got a call from my office manager stating she saw this google review and she asked me what happened. I told her about the call. He stated that he checked it regularly (his stash)...he was in my shop 8 days ago and I have no way of knowing when he last saw his money nor did he offer that information. He says it was missing after the visit, yet I get a call 8 days later. His final bill was $206.76 not $260.00. He sat quietly in my waiting room and yes I was working at my desk on my computer. Not sure what he expected of my time. We did talk briefly in regards to a scratched piece of glass and I apologized for him being inconvenienced for the additional 15 minutes while waiting for a delivery. We do offer mobile service at Windshields Express and I do not know the details of the conversation with Mr. Humphries when he booked this work. On a side note, we received a call a few months back from a female customer who had been in our shop. She had been down on her luck of late and she called after leaving to thank the person who had left $15.00 dollars in her car. Our Tech denied leaving it, but Pam and I both know he had felt sorry for her. I'm guessing it was all the cash he had on him. That is his character. I don't know what happened to Mr. Humphries $100.00 and to make an accusation like that 8 days after the fact, does not seem reasonable to me. I can't let this opportunity pass to express how happy I am with the professionals at Windshields Express. The rear window of my car was blown out during the high wind storm we recently experienced in Colorado Springs. After contacting my insurance company, I drove by Windshields Express to set up an appointment. Even though they hadn't received the authorization to replace my glass, co-owner J.P. Nordstrom and his wife Darlene knew I couldn't drive my car in its current condition. They pulled my car directly into the shop, removed and vacuumed out all of the broken glass from the interior of the car and trunk, and then placed protective plastic over the open space for weather protection. While they were busy with that project, co-owner Mike Eschler was on the phone seeking authorization for OEM Mercedes Benz glass and authorization to have it shipped from the east coast. Within a week my glass arrived and was installed at an appointment that fit my schedule. Not only was the glass replaced, J.P. and his window tech (sorry, I didn't get his name) voluntarily removed the rear power sunshade mechanism, removed all of the broken glass and reinstalled a working sunshade. The customer service was simply outstanding, the quality of the work was top-notch and professional. WOW! Windshields Express is awesome! From the moment they picked up the phone until I left with my new windshield I experienced nothing but great customer service. Their prices were just as competitive as everyone else in the springs AND they have a great lifetime warranty for rock chips! (which is the reasoning why I had to get a new one in the first place.) Technician was knowledgeable and friendly as everyone was. They even worked to get a lower price for me than originally quoted on the phone.They have free Wi-Fi as well so your not just sitting there going our of your mind. Great time to get some work done or catch up on E-mails.If you don't feel like going to the shop, they come to you with mobile service! I'm a veteran, and my wife and I live in Colorado Springs. I hear Bruce Buckman on the radio all the time, and he sounds like a patriotic American business owner. I determined long ago that if I ever needed some windshield work, I would try Windshields Express. Yesterday, we got home from a long trip, and a rock chip in our windshield quickly turned into a large crack. We needed a replacement, so I called, and they were very helpful, walking me through all the info I would need to gather to make this a smooth process with the insurance company. Bruce even gave me the correct number to call at Allstate. Long and the short of it, a few hours later, I had a couple of technicians AT MY HOUSE with the correct windshield replacement in hand. The guys were courteous and efficient. A half hour later, our car was good as new. I would recommend Windshields Express in Colorado Springs to anyone. Great job, guys! read more

I would recommend Windshields Express to anyone! Given the aftermath of a hail storm, they went out of their way to squeeze me while all other places said it'd be weeks. Pam was more than helpful through the whole process of getting my windshield replaced as well as helped me find a custom corner window I needed fixed and scheduled me right in for that too. Even with them being extremely busy at such a time, they took their time to answer any questions or concerns and provided great insight! Pam and Bruce were exceptionally personable and made the experience as smooth as possible. They work hard, but with both of my encounters, my car was done quickly and both windows turned out amazing for an incredibly reasonable price. I will do business with them again! read more

Top notch help! The recent hail stormed ruined my sisters windshield. Sadly the worst part of the experience was not the broken windshield itself but the price gouging of having it repaired, the rude owners of other local places and long wait times to have it done. The sunroof and side view mirror for our Subaru Forester were damaged in a hail storm. Someone recommended Windshield Express so I called them. I'm glad I did. The people were fantastic, very friendly and were great at communicating with us throughout the entire process. They did great work and I thought their prices were very reasonable for the work they did. Can't say enough good things about these guys. My daughter's car needed a windshield and back window replaced due to hail. It got pounded. I called 3 other shops and they were all at least 3 weeks out. Pam was able to schedule our vehicle within a week and gave me the name and number of a salvage yard that had a used back window. They replaced the windshield and installed the used back window. Windshields Express is the best shop in town. I won't go anywhere else. read more

I have used them for multiple windshields over the last few years and they are less expensive than the big places and do a great job. I had a windshield crack after replacement and they honored the warranty. I have had rock chips and they fix them with no problem. As to the political stance, I agree with most of what he says, but it doesn't come through in the office, there are no 'rants' that I've heard. The hail storm of 7/28/2016 really did a number on my windshield and car. I wanted Windshield's Express to install my new windshield. They did my windshield before on this same car and did such a great job that I wanted them to do this hail damaged one too. There were other windshield replacement companies coming out to my neighborhood last week and this week but I wanted to wait and get it replaced by Windshield' Express. I trust them. read more

I can't say enough good things about Windshield Express. My windshield developed a leak about a year after they installed.. it ultimately came down to them removing and re-installing the windsheild. All work was done under their warranty and cost me nothing.. Windshield Express honored their warranty, went above and beyond to make things right and never argued who''s issue it was. I had a window smashed in my car and no one in town was available to fix it within the next few days, until I spoke with Bruce at Windshield Express. He was awesome and literally got my window replaced within a couple of hours of dropping it off. Fantastic service! They also charged a much lower amount than other glass replacement services.
