He was knowledgeable, personable and very impressive by answering all of my questions. He believes in his windows and his enthusiasm is evident in what he does. Customer Service kept me updated while the windows were being constructed. Once they were ready, the rep fully explained what to expect on the day of installation. He was very accommodating in scheduling the install date to my needs. The day of installation, Joe, the crew supervisor, called me when they were on their way giving me an ETA. I had thought of additional questions before they began. He called the office and put me in touch with Kourtney. She was professional in handling my questions and assured me with kindness and understanding. Joe and his crew of six took over and got to work immediately. Two men worked together on a window. They were efficient, fast and you could tell they knew what they were doing. It was amazing how they could do what they do with each of them knowing what their responsibilities are without saying a word. They just got after it and finished my home in less than a day. Each of them was respectful of me and my home. They moved furniture that was in the way and covered things in the open. They cleaned up so well before they left, there wasn't a piece of dust or dirt anywhere. During the day, their manager, Michael, stopped by to check in and make sure I was happy with the progress and if I had any concerns. He walked me around the house to make sure I could see everything they were doing. Nathan, the sales rep, also stopped by before the day was over to make sure I was pleased with the job. The windows are even better than what I expected! They make an immediate difference in the appearance of each room. One of the best things when looking through them - the colors and clarity outside are move vivid. I have noticed an immediate quietness in suppressing sounds from the outside. My favorite window is the one that opens from side to side. I just can't say enough how great these windows are! Like I said, H & M Windows are truly fantastic. The installation team led by Hector did an excellent job and keeping the work areas, clean and orderly, and when they left, there was no debris left behind. We got a quote and they came out to measure and were fantastic and contacted us every step of the…read moreway to let us know the process. On the day of installation two windows were broken and two screens were missing. They had no idea about the screens but they told us that they would replace the windows. This seems odd because they called me to let me know the items were in and were thoroughly inspected and we scheduled their install. Everything was great and we understand things happen but there was no communication in the interim and we only received messages that we owed them money and were to pay them the final payment despite multiple items missing or not installed at all. Finally, after multiple phone calls and text messages and emails over several weeks and no communication from the project manager and escalating the issue I was made aware that he was no longer with the company. Why they chose not to alert me and anyone else that had a current open project with them and tell me who it was reassigned to or that it was known and would be reassigned is baffling and annoying. Finally, I get a call and we schedule finalizing the project about a month out and on the day of the completion they show up without the screens that were missing and this glass but not the window frames. They disappear for about an hour and come back and put the screens in but then tell me that they cannot install the frames because the glass is not installed. The people that showed up were absolutely dumbfounded that the frames were not installed. They also were not aware that there were supposed to be screens for the sliding glass doors and could not find them in the warehouse after calling back to look for them. A few days later I get a phone call that the glass was actually shattered and could not be installed and they would need to reorder it. I'm concerned on how glass that is supposed to be hurricane CAT 5 rated shattered on a 5-mile trip to my home on two separate occasions. Last week after the 5th or 6th visit and a total of about 6 months we finally completed the job. Once again the installer was not made aware of the issues that had been documented to the front office that needed to be resolved and he showed up with two screens thinking they needed to be installed but didnt and no one ever said they did. The communication between the warehouse and the installers and the salesperson and the front office is non-existent. Every time someone made an appointment to come to my home they either had the wrong items or didn't have items and weren't made aware of what they were coming out to do. It baffles me because we used them at the recommendation of several neighbors and family members who experience the utmost best customer service experience. Simply because of that and the fact that we signed a contract in March and we're lucky enough to not have any hurricanes despite the project not being finished until primetime hurricane season is why I would caution someone before signing an agreement with this company and would get better defined timelines and expectations before doing so. I would also ask that they have fixed the clear manning and communication issues.
