It…read morehas absolutly everything, beautiful grounds and display gardens, and the opertunity to take you time plodding along taking in all the beauitful plants and flowers. There is so much choice its great. All types of plants etc are clearly located and easily found. It is a family run buisness and has been going for years.. and gets bigger and better everytime i go. The owners mr and mrs webb live onsite next to the centre, and are the most friendly people you will ever meet.. they are always found walking around chatting to the customers, or with people coming and going from the house. Mr webb still works around the gardens although most of the running of the place is taken on by his son.. and also a few other fantastic members of staff, who are all brilliant, and make you feel so welcome. You can tell mr webb is around as he is always whistling. There is a parot called perkins who has been there as long as i can remember, who can whistle just like mr webb. The parrot also wolf whistles, and says a few words. there used to be a few donkeys and sheep that would often be seen popping their heads over the gate saying hello.. but as time has passed on so sadly have they. Mrs webb used to run the cafe which years ago was the tea room,.. no more than a little wooden shed.. that kept getting extentions! but as it got busyer and busyer and much larger the running of the place has been taken over by another local buisness, the nant-y-ffyn hotel, this at first was a little strange no more of mrs webbs fantastic steak pies, but it is still fantastic, and their sunday lunches are the best around. It's a perfect place to relax on summers day.. meet the locals, catch up, have a cuppa and a meal and buy all you need for your garden, from statues, furniure, orniments, sheds, plants tools and soils. Its really does have it all! The webbs are always sooo friendly and very very knowlegable they know everything you''ll ever need to know about the garden! The views from the centre are also incredible looking over to the preselli mountains. perfect, I totally recomend it!!!

Has knowledgable staff and all the goodies you need for your garden!Mr and Mrs Webb are always around and you can't beat having a good ol' chin wag with them. I can't talk about this place without mentioning the tea rooms either! The food, the place, the staff! I've always found them to be very friendly and will always make you feel at home. No request is too much for them either! Main meals during the week are delish and the puddings on a sunday- heaven! Be prepared to give up your diet when you come here!

I'm going to make some bold statements with this place. First up it is my favourite shop in Acocks…read moreGreen. I also think it must be the best hardware store in Birmingham. Jeffries is a huge hardware business that stocks all the standard nuts and bolts plus a huge selection of outdoor planting, perfect for this time of year, and has a large gardening section at the rear of the store. Recently I was after some fence protector and after a visit to a huge DIY shop felt frazzled by the choice in products, colours and price. One trip to Jeffries and I got exactly what I needed, no fuss, a great price and I parked my car at the rear of the store to load up. I also recently discovered they do key cutting. They stock a wide selection of pet products. The beauty of this place is that they've always got what you need and know exactly what you are asking for. On the very slim chance they don't stock what you are after they know where you should go to get it. Amazing staff and service.

Need a hardware item for your garden and/ home? Take a look here as I'm sure they'll have it! There…read moreare lots of little sections in this shop like their garden hardware, animal treats and carpet sections. It was a nice little surprise when discovering each area here. In summary it's a big hardware store that sells all (or at least most) of the nuts and bolts you need for your home and they have a big garden centre. If they don't have what you want then the staff can tell you where to get it. The shop is mainly for people who want to buy anything to do with DIY for their home. I came in here in search of a few things for home and, I don't mean to offend anybody by stereotyping, as a woman in a hardware store I didn't know where to look first. The staff were friendly and polite enough however to put me in the right direction. If you need any hardware for your home and garden then it's worth giving this store a visit.

There were some hardcore Sunday shoppers here and rightly so this place is beautiful. Full on country side vibe with every possible flower and shrub imaginable! I got my trolley and causally stilled around the centre settling on buying some sunflowers and other really hard to pronounce types of flowers for my mom and dads front garden. I have no idea who named some of these varieties of flowers....but they went innnnn...I won't lie a lot of them I couldn't pronounce but I gave it a good go..with varying results.... The flowers here are super cheap too the sunflowers were like 1.50 each and most pots are below £3...bargains galore!! The only thing to note is the tills are busy...people are flocking for a wide for those bargain blooms so set out an afternoon for this trip it's definitely going to take you a a few to see everything and pay....but that's the vibe surely...loved it.
