We were interested in buying blackout roller shades that fully provide full privacy for some of our windows, but also some "honeycomb" shades that look accordian pleated and provide more insulation for our bedroom windows. We decided to go to the showroom to look at more samples, decide on color and style, and see how the cordless shades work. Penny was helpful and patient with all our questions. When we made our choices, she sent a man named Harold to take final measurements. He arrived on time and was very polite and helpful in solving an existing problem with one of our drapery fixtures over one window. Penny kept us informed about our order and arranged for Harold to install our shades about a month later when the materials arrived. He was a hard worker and wouldn't even take breaks. He was a real gentleman and cleaned up his work areas. We like both styles of shades very much! They raise and lower very easily and require no pull cords or other apparatus. What a nice change from our old style roller shades. We highly recommend them, as well as this company. Penny, Harold, and a lady who handled some of the phone calls (Devora?) were all knowledgable, nice people! Kudos to each of you! M & Y in Livonia

I've given the owner at least one month to fix the situation, but he has not responded or tried to fix his mistake. Very unsatisfied and regretful to order from 1-800-4-blinds! Buyer beware!

I wouldn't recommend this company at all. I got zebra blinds installed in August of last year for my new home. 1) The company promised to install a free blind for the window in my garage. I had to follow up multiple times, and finally they came and installed it but it was too short for the window and also was a faux wood blind instead of zebra blind which was promised. He agreed to swap it but it has been 10 months since and I haven't been getting any response. 2) The zebra blinds were quite expensive and I paid a premium for them ($3800 for 10 blinds). We went with the recommendation from company during blind selection. I'm disappointed that these blinds don't block any light whatsoever coming in and are useless. The TV is unwatchable during day time due to all the glare and reflection coming in from windows. I had to spend a lot again to get curtains installed for whole house.

I spent weeks hounding Harry to install the blinds. He finally confirmed a specific day to install at 10 AM after approximately 8 weeks since ordered. The night before, Harry called my phone three times at 11:45 at night and left a message asking for access to get into the locked building so he could install. I was sleeping and did not answer. You can imagine my confusion, when I received the message. The next morning he did not show up as scheduled. I called him to find out what was going on. He told me that he got into a car accident the night before. I asked where my blinds were, and he claimed his car was impounded and they were in his car. It took another week or so for him to get the blinds out of his car and Uber to our building to install. Upon installing, Harry called me multiple times for immediate payment. I was not available to answer the phone. He never left a message or sent a final invoice. Harry decided to illegally enter the building and removed/ stole the installed blinds late last week. Again, I have not received a message, an invoice, a W9 or an insurance certificate from Harry and Josel. The owners of the property have since filed a police report due to his unauthorized access of the law office and unauthorized removal of their property. DO NOT HIRE! HARRY IS BAD NEW.

Initially, Rich helped me with several simple privacy blinds and I looked through samples for the bamboo shades I had in mind for my family room. The privacy blinds arrived in just two weeks and the price for all 3 was less than one of the privacy blinds was going to cost in my first quote. The whole experience was perfect, so I decided to order nice bamboo shades for my family room through them too. These took a while longer but they're beautiful and fit perfectly. I took forever to decide on the color and Rich let me keep the samples as long as I needed and was never pushy about the process. Highly recommend!!
