The Windmill is an excellent restaurant that we stumbled across while out for a leisurely drive round some of the local villages. It has a lovely old, yet modern feel to it inside with a combination of old brick walls, low ceilings and beams and modern leather sofas and wood flooring. The menu is always good, offering something for every taste. The first time we went we had the Steak & Ale Pie and we couldn't stop raving about it for days later. It was divine! We joined the Gourmet Society, after seeing a leaflet there, and were able to go back and get 2 meals for the price of one bonus! A definite must to dine out at you'll go back again and again, I promise! read more
