This was the absolute worst nursing facility experience I have ever had to deal with.My mother was…read moretreated so poorly.Staff rude as ever!!They would leave food I ordered for her daily downstairs for hours. They left her in soiled diapers & had the nerve to call me & ask her to not make a mess by trying to change herself. She said if she wasn't left in dirty diapers for several hours she wouldn't have tried to change herself. She had a bad rash & it was burning her private. Also a random man walked in my mom's room yelling at her & slammed her door. That's a safety issue & she was on isolation at the time.Nobody should've been able to walk in my mothers room and scare her like that.I asked to speak to my mother's Dr daily & never got to speak with them the entire month that she was there. She's now been admitted to the hospital.I am her daughter. I have been taking care of her for 16yrs. I have Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis & told them that mom couldn't come home until she tested negative for the CDIFF.They lied & said she had solid stool for 2 weeks. When her nurse told me the night before that she had diarrhea. They are neglecting them people & they were mean to some of the patients. I witnessed a man being cussed about because he threw up .I felt so bad for him. I'm contacting everyone i can to make sure that this happens to nobody else. I think my mom is still positive for CDIFF.She's been home less than 24 hours & she's so weak 7 accidents of straight water diarrhea. There's no way they sent her home like this!!I'm furious. She's dehydrated to the fullest.I also had to clean her room everytime I came to drop off her groceries!! I feel so sorry for anyone else's loved one's that has to reside there.Three of their own staff advised me to never bring her back there.Definitely not a good nursing home!

They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and cared about. Sycamores Terrace is in a super part of town. 5 minutes walk to the bus stop and downtown well....a 5 minute car ride to the stadium, amphitheater or Bridgestone! Great security with cameras and lighting three the halls and outside. Front doors lock at 4pm, the only way to get in is with your key. They have an underground parking facility and washers and dryers are in the basement. Should you chose to have your meals cooked for you...they post an everyday meal selection and they have an absolutely marvelous dining area to eat. The extra expense should be considered. They also have housekeeping and a hair salon once a week if you choose. Sycamores Terrace is shiny and clean and if I didn't know better...I find myself thinking I'm in a hotel on vacation. There is a small work out gym, and actuaries offered during the week for those interested. If you are considering living in a senior "hotel" I insist you try this place. It's all I could ever ask for and more....truly I can go on and on. From the politeness if staff a the front desks, Connie and Angel to the gentleman who are doing construction at this time, you are always greeted with a smile and a welcome! I guarantee you will be home here!!
