Well that backfired from requesting a plumber through their app, he blew a pipe under the sink in the kitchen and mold started developing fast in the wood kitchen area counters/ and cupboards. They evicted me for their mistake, and even had the courage to literally threaten me! I wouldn't trust anyone there including Stephany , Lucy, they are a waist of time and energy. Literal emotional vampires and crooks who shouldn't be in business.

    OMNI Property Management (OPM) "manages" properties with an unparalleled level of greed and…read moreincompetence, including: -- regular unnecessary maintenance (they own some of the companies that do work on their properties, so are adept at creating make-work to pad their grift) -- egregious failures to do critical maintenance on major systems or employ reputable, competent repairmen for appliances Over almost a 2-year period, OPM charged or cost me: -- $242 to "repair" a dishwasher that had to be replaced a few months later -- $538 to "repair" a refrigerator that had to be replaced a few months later -- $123 to replace batteries in a thermostat after the TENANT put the wrong kind into it -- $137 to restart a water heater after they failed to monitor/fill the propane tank -- $179 to rake leaves on a house/property with minimal leaf fall and no need to rake them up (and if tenants are required to maintain lawns on houses, why wouldn't minimal leaf-raking be the same?) -- over $1000 to repair a furnace due to their failure to replace its filter even once (see attached PHOTO, with new, clean filter for comparison) -- with an average recommended filter replacement schedule of every 3-4 months, it should have been replaced at least 5-6 times All this in addition to the almost $3,000 in "management" fees they didn't earn.

    Westview Real Estate's handling of security deposits is truly fraudulent. They withheld 93% of my…read moredeposit for just one year of tenancy in a building built in 2003 and rented to tenants for over 20 years, without accounting for normal wear and tear. I requested both a comparison of the damage charges for the tenant who vacated the same unit in September 2024, to establish a baseline, and aggregate data showing the percentage of deposits returned to tenants in this building for 2024, but they have refused to provide it. The absence of a deposit appeal form or process, coupled with the inflated deductions, suggests that the organization operates in a fundamentally dishonest and exploitative manner. It's astounding that such practices are still happening in 2025. Renters deserve protection from this systematic and predatory process.

Someone came out to look at this issueue. I was told it was "user error" and was charged a fee for having someone look at it. I was told someone has to bear the cost (I guess it is the tenant!) and the vendor had to be paid for their time. Seems to me, that is simply a cost of doing business. When I objected to the charge, I was told it might have been waived but for my "tone". This is corporate America taking advantage of the small guy. It seems that if someone was there to also look at several other things, it is unacceptable to charge a separate fee for the heat check. Tacking on additional charges is how real estate companies increase their profits. Moreover, if the real estate company has their own maintenance team or a contract with the "vendor", those people have already been paid. I have asked to see the bill for this "service" but have not received it. Should they produce the actual bill, it will be interesting to see if they charged me more than the actual charge. It seems to me, the company would want to encourage a tenant to report issues but if a tenant does, they run the risk of being charged if they deem the issue is "user error".This is customer service at its worst.
