PURE Property Management is a joke. They managed my property from March 2020 -April 2025. During…read morethat time they frequently went weeks (sometimes months!) without responding to requests. They rarely, if ever, provided updates about the property--even though they promised to do inspections every 6-12 months, which they didn't. When it was time to sell the house I told them four months in advance so we could let the tenants know. The tenants left the place a mess and the property said that they'd give us the security deposit back and we could deal with the cleaning. Then, after all this, they send me an Agreement to Terminate and say they need 30 days notice. They have been awful. Avoid them like the plague.

Westview Real Estate's handling of security deposits is truly fraudulent. They withheld 93% of my…read moredeposit for just one year of tenancy in a building built in 2003 and rented to tenants for over 20 years, without accounting for normal wear and tear. I requested both a comparison of the damage charges for the tenant who vacated the same unit in September 2024, to establish a baseline, and aggregate data showing the percentage of deposits returned to tenants in this building for 2024, but they have refused to provide it. The absence of a deposit appeal form or process, coupled with the inflated deductions, suggests that the organization operates in a fundamentally dishonest and exploitative manner. It's astounding that such practices are still happening in 2025. Renters deserve protection from this systematic and predatory process.

Please consider this before renting from this company. I was having trouble with my heat. Someone came out to look at this issueue. I was told it was "user error" and was charged a fee for having someone look at it. I was told someone has to bear the cost (I guess it is the tenant!) and the vendor had to be paid for their time. Seems to me, that is simply a cost of doing business. When I objected to the charge, I was told it might have been waived but for my "tone". This is corporate America taking advantage of the small guy. It seems that if someone was there to also look at several other things, it is unacceptable to charge a separate fee for the heat check. Tacking on additional charges is how real estate companies increase their profits. Moreover, if the real estate company has their own maintenance team or a contract with the "vendor", those people have already been paid. I have asked to see the bill for this "service" but have not received it. Should they produce the actual bill, it will be interesting to see if they charged me more than the actual charge. It seems to me, the company would want to encourage a tenant to report issues but if a tenant does, they run the risk of being charged if they deem the issue is "user error".This is customer service at its worst.

The shuttle is very convenient as well. There are problem here a there like the lack of security presence, especially when it comes to noise complaints at night. And the Internet connection can be a pain, it often cuts out. Overall the biggest thing to be said is they are new apartments, so I don't expect perfection but they are very nice and if things continue to go well I will renew my lease for sure!!

The shuttle breaks down frequently, and residents aren't notified until it's too late--causing you to miss class or pay for parking out of pocket. Rent and utility costs have consistently increased, all for a subpar living experience. When you finally move out, you're likely to be hit with vague and confusing "damage charges" that cannot be disputed unless you want to pursue legal action. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. The management is negligent and unresponsive. While most of the staff are kind and do their best, there's only so much they can do under such poor leadership.

I tried several times to talk and was given the run around each time (e.g. he will call you tomorrow, he just stepped out, he is not here right now, you actually need to email him, he doesn't take phone calls) Don't do business with these clowns! They don't know how to treat potential renters and you will be nothing but frustrated if there is anything you need to contact them for.
