It took 5 months to get back the OSHA fees and LAB fees which were fraudulently billed by the old owners. So sad that they took advantage of in-network additional billing that was not allowed. Old owners just ignored it but the new doc did the right thing! I hope this practice learns from this experience and treats patients the right way without tacky billing ideas.

I have bounced around 3 different dentists over the past 2 years, and all of them tried to do things without telling me how much it was going to cost or charged me more than my insurance company's policy had stated. Most of them were unnecessary procedures too. Not only was Dr. Edwards honest and friendly, he was incredibly thorough, explained everything upfront and didn't do anything that I didn't need done. He also does a free mouth cancer screening with every visit. Something Imagix would have charged me $50 for. In general, I feel like dentist are in somewhat of a conflict of interest. They make money when you have bad teeth, but are supposed to encourage you to have a good teeth. They caneasly take advantage of people who haven't had 4 years of dentistry school. Dr. Connell came in and performed my consultation, confidently and assuring my reviewing my treatment plan with me. I had to have a dental crown made and fitted and Dr. Connell happens to have the machine that allows this to occur same day. No messing with temps falling out when you're chewing or worrying you might stab your tender gum with a chip while waiting for the permanent to arrive. Anywho... Dr. Connell was crowning a tooth that had cracked some years ago. He told me it might be sensitive for a bit because it is like a bruise; the nerve has been repeatedly irritated for so long that it needs to time to heal. Well here I am 7-8 weeks later and he was right. My crown feels nearly perfect in that I barely notice or recall that I have had a crown placed at all!! I feel so fortunate to have been a patient here. The staff is all super awesome, especially the tech who helped out for my procedure. They have such great banter and work together seamlessly, and she was the sweetest !! My only regret is not having found them sooner. My husband and I relocated out of GA but we plan to return one day and if we are in this area, Dr. Connell will be our dentist no doubt. 10/10 experience, would try again, highly recommend !!!!

During the procedure she cut my mouth as her tool slipped. 2 weeks later I experienced pain and went back to my previous dentist, who examined the work done and informed me Dr. Thulasi Muppuru had done a terrible job on the replacement fillings and had left a gap between my teeth. I now have to pay to get the work redone and insurance will not cover this as they tell me these teeth have already had work done on them. I will be out of pocket. My strong advice is NOT to use this dentist or practice.
