It's been 3 months since we got ours and are sososo very happy with all things Wind River! June 2021 we first visited this place out on our hot tub hunt. Originally we planned on getting a plug and play from Costco but thought it'd be wise to check out some local outfits and get some comps and learn about the hot tub world from people in the industry. One thing we learned that was noteworthy is that there isn't a top three brand nationally or globally for hot tubs. (ie Kohler, American standard, moen, etc). another thing I learned is one we went to all other hot tub dealers it wasn't surprising to hear companies bashing each other but no one had a single negative thing to say about wind river. When we got done we were torn between one at Spa Brokers and Wind River, but they were far from equal measures. Back then I only thought there were 3 main differences: 5k price difference, cost of delivery and floating chlorine/bromine thing (that wind river DOESNT use). All the places had a 5 month MINIMUM wait on delivery, placing delivery after thanksgiving (thanks Covid) but we were able to snag the spot someone had vacated in sept with wind river so that was a big plus and decided to go with them! Wind river is manufactured in Colorado and they custom make your tub 2 wks before delivery. How can you be sure?! Great question, we pondered the same....they actually send a video of your tub being born! So since this is not a plug and play electrical wiring is required and you have to furnish your own electrician. We went with one of the two recommendations from the company and we were beyond pleased with him. Noteworthy is that the electric is set up & run after the hot tub is installed. So on the day of the delivery was a lot later than planned, so we were worried about the decision we made. But when they finally arrived until this very day we haven't had a single complaint. They sent a skilled crew that was able to get the hot tub into our backyard. Wind river does an amazing job of prepping you with exactly what you need (wattage, space, etc) before they deliver and they even request photos/videos to ensure a seamless delivery and set up. It worked like a charm! OK so now let's go into our experience with the tub since we got it three months ago. There's really no complaints. It works really well and definitely exceeds expectations. All of our friends have told us that it's better than theirs or their family/friends. We learned that our neighbor has a wind river spa as well, he's had it for 10 years & loves it. The maintainence is as simple as they marketed it. Oh and very little chemicals, after every use you put in a capful per person of chlorine. You can even order the required chemicals from wind river or online! We can't rave enough about our investment in a wind river spa and look forward to many years of tubbing goodness! read more

Our tornado spa is just a year old now. Works great and feels great! However when you drain it to replace the water and clean it there isn't a drain in the floor of the spa. So the only way to completely drain is to use a shop vac. Our hot springs tub drained completely through the floor drain. read more

100% the best! This is my 4th hot tub and it beats the other 3 hands down! My last tub was a 16K tub and after 2 years, 4 control panels, constant draining and changing the water (I am on well water) I cracked and got rid of it. I did a lot of research and found Wind River. Reached out to Nelson on 2 different occasions and talked to him for an hour each time. He was very knowledgeable and completely understood what I was talking about. We made it down to the Wind River show room and spent another 3 hours and bought my new tub. My new tub is awesome!! 2 months in and no water issues! These tubs circulate and filter 24 hours, so the water is never sitting stagnant. It has made all the difference in the world. It holds it temp!! I would keep my old Spa`s set at 104 degrees. In the cold weather the temps would drop to 102 - 101 degrees within 30 to 45 minutes. Then the water felt cold and not enjoyable. This one I can't even set at 104 degrees. It would be way to hot. We stay at 102 degrees and no matter how cold it is outside it stays 102 degrees. No icicles hanging off of the cover either. It is tight and right. We lost power for about 8 hours and it was freezing outside. My water temp only dropped about 4 degree`s (I think, I can't remember exactly now but it wasn't much) So well insulated! The jet power is amazing. The control panels are simple and convenient. This is the simplest tub to use and to take care of. Wind River sends out a video and if you watch it, it will answer pretty much any question you may have about your tub. Honestly, Hot Tubs are a large purchase. Do yourself a favor and save yourself pain. Just go to Wind River. You won't be sorry!! One last thing. I have to give a shout out to Rick the owner. I had scheduling problems for my delivery. Not on Wind Rivers end but my end. Rick worked hard to deal with my schedule and get my tub delivered as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone at Wind River!! read more

This is a few months late but better late than never. We bought a new house last May and we left our old hot tub with the new owners. I started doing some research and Wind River Spas came up on Yelp so I figured I would stop by there first before checking out other places. I walked in and Rick greeted me and I told him I was looking for a new or possibly refurbished hot tub. He patiently walked me through their special filteration system and insulation and explained everything very thoroughly. He explained that due to their filtration system you basically don't really need to use chemicals other than a little chlorine. At that point I was pretty much sold. Especially since they're built in house here in Colorado. We sat down and he showed me what they had in terms of used hot tubs. It turned out he was selling his old tub and it was the right or price so I went ahead and put a deposit down. He also scheduled a time to come out to our house and help me find a good spot to install the tub. Rick's crew came and installed the tub which was all included in the price of the tub. They were all nice and I don't think it took more than an hour to install. It's been running perfectly and I've been enjoying it all winter. This may be a long review, but I really wanted to detail our great experience with Wind River. After moving we decided a new hot tub was in order. Left a 20 year old Jacuzzi behind at the old house. First place we went was to a "tent sale". That was an appropriate name since it was like a circus. Incredibly overpriced hot tubs and a salesman who was a "clown". High pressure to the max. So, I began an online search. First thing that bothered me was a lack of online pricing except at the "big box" stores. And almost every unit at those places were out of stock and I REALLY had concerns about some freight truck just dropping a super heavy spa in the driveway and leaving. So, a company that would deliver the spa was important to me. I had heard of Wind River many times since I am a Colorado native. I always thought they would be way out of my price range due to their reputation. Surprise, surprise! The wife and I "built" a spa on their website and at the end there was the exact pricing. Affordable for our budget and way lower than at the "tent sale circus". So, we placed the order and put down the refundable deposit. With everyone stuck at home there is a waiting line for spas. And a refundable deposit was obviously a win win situation. Wanting to see the spas in person we went to the showroom in Englewood a couple of weeks later. Glad we did since we found my wife is short and had trouble stepping into the spa we chose even with the stairs. We talked to the sales rep on the floor and downgraded to a smaller spa. Simple, easy and no argument even though the spa we changed into was much less expensive than the one we originally ordered. A couple of weeks spent pouring a concrete pad and having the electrical installed and we were ready and waiting for our delivery. I thought I would call to let them know we were ready in case they had any cancellations, and we were in luck. Rick Hallett, the owner, said just that morning he had received an email from a customer wishing to put off their delivery for three weeks. He went to the trouble of changing the production order so our spa could be built and delivered almost a month earlier than originally scheduled. It is definitely a good idea to call Wind River if you are prepared early, they just might be able to move up your delivery date. Had several email conversations with Rick before the delivery and he was always super responsive and answered all my questions. The delivery itself went incredibly smoothly. The delivery crew consisted of Rick's son Zach (discovered this truly is a family business) and another young man named Cody. They were friendly, efficient and had the spa placed in no time. We began filling while my electrician, who was onsite for the delivery, hooked up the spa. Then Zach went through a really comprehensive explanation of the control panel and answered any questions we had as the spa went through its startup sequence and Cody assembled the cover lifter. I would highly recommend purchasing the cover lifter...the cover itself is extremely well made with really thick foam and isn't a light piece of equipment to move around if you're older like we are. The spa itself is fabulous as well as beautiful! The jets are super powerful compared to my old Jacuzzi. The seating areas are well designed and comfortable. We have used it every night since it was delivered, and the water is still crystal clear with just following the instructions of adding a teaspoon of the dy-chlor. To sum it all up you can't go wrong buying a spa from Wind River. This has probably been the best experience we have ever had in purchasing a fairly large ticket item. A bit more than 3 years now that I have owned my Wind River spa and I had occasion to contact Wind River again for a small issue my spa had recently. All I can say is "wow". I can count a handful of companies that will *always* get my trust and my business and Wind River is one of them. Stellar customer service all the way around. Tyler and Tom are both incredibly customer focused, prompt, and professional. I cannot recommend this company enough. If you buy a spa in Denver and you do not buy from Wind River - good luck to you. If you buy from Wind River you will not need "luck" - this company will deliver. Period. It's a bit cliche to say this, but I wish I could give Wind River more than 5 stars. Sitting in my three-year old Wind River Spa right now. So pleased with it and the company I felt compelled to write another glowing review. Wind River should teach a master course in customer service. When we first shopped, no fewer than four friends recommended Wind River. After install, the owner called to make sure everything went smoothly. This tub has been flawless now for three years. We only add a spoonful of chlorine after each soak. By the next day the chlorine is gone. My wife hates chlorine, and she loves this tub. I change the water once per quarter. Mostly because I'm super picky. It could probably go longer. When I'm on vacation and there's a hot tub, it's usually a let down. Some smelly unit full of chemicals. Wind River has ruined me for any other spa. read more

Unfortunately we called To ask a few questions and did not receive the service that should be given when asking a few questions and help us make a decision on what to do so we had a spa back were treated very disrespectfully over the phone by the gentleman that I talked to. I decided to go in and check out the spas since we loved ours, well nothing changed upon me going in to the showroom, the employee was short with me and treated me as if I could not swing a new spa. We were looking for a hot tub this year. However, my cousin has a hot tub store in NC and is a little on the scam side, so I knew I had some work cut out for me. However, once I popped on to yelp and saw all the 5 reviews, I knew I had found the place. We picked out the smaller tub. Ordered electricians (do this early) and hired a crane company to install it on our balcony. The crane company canceled on us 24 hours before delivery. Wind Spa was able to find us another company who did a great job. They did forget to level the spa (bit of a slope) but they came right back out and fixed the issue. They were also available for questions on the phone. The spas are designed for Colorado, and they manufacture them. Everyone is super friendly and very customer orientated. As a sales professional myself, I recommend you go nowhere else but here for your spa. read more

Our relationship with this company and it's owner, Rick Hallett, began over 20 years ago when we bought our original hot tub from them. That thing was BULLETPROOF, it literally would not die! Over 20 years with MINIMAL service calls... Well all good things must come to an end, and the main electric panel finally gave up the ghost and it was WAY past time for a new one. So we went down a week from last Saturday, picked a GORGEOUS tub out, incredibly reasonable price and of course working with Rick has always been a complete pleasure! Their tubs are designed and built HERE, not in Florida or someplace with a TOTALLY different climate than ours. They're built FAR better than most if not all of the stuff out there, and their insulation is designed for US. We love the hot tub we got here. I fully expected a high pressure sales pitch when we walked in the door, but we totally didn't get that. Probably helped that we knew we were ready to buy one. They helped us pick out exactly what size we wanted, how many jets (always go bigger than you think you need!) and went over installation and everything. You can hold your tub with a minimum deposit and then they do a site visit to make sure you have what you need for location. They can then coordinate any work that needs done and have electricians they use if you need that run, too (which you probably do). Their electrician was several hundred dollars cheaper than our guy, and he was excellent. The installers got a small ding in one side panel and I don't know that I would've noticed it if they didn't say anything. They had to order/make the part but in a couple weeks they came back and put it on while I was at work. And suffice it to say, we love our hot tub and the minimal maintenance we have to do on it! read more

We ordered a Fortitude spa from Wind River for our new home and we couldn't be happier with the purchase. We looked at a few different places for the right tub but what really sold us on WindRiver was fact that their tubs are built here in Colorado and that they are chemical free. Their prices were also competitive with some of the other places we found and less than some of the fancier places we visited that I felt had comparable products. Everyone from the company that we dealt with through the purchase was very nice and extremely helpful which is really important in big transactions such as these. The spa was ready and delivered on our agreed upon date and the guys had it up and running in less than 45 minutes. WindRiver even had a great recommendation for an electrician who showed up on the same day the spa was being installed to get all the electric work done. The spa was our very first purchase during the renovations of our new home and having it there to relax in every night makes having my whole house torn up much more bearable. Everything in the spa works great and we love that you can change the jet pressure for each seat individually. We are also loving that the spa has no chemical smell whatsoever. Wind River Spas has a top quality service department and over all excellent customer service! We purchased a home that had an almost new Wind River hot tub that was still under warranty. Unfortunately the previous owner did not winterize the almost empty tub so there was some freeze damage. Freeze damage is not covered, but the service dept came out to evaluate the situation and offered us service under the warranty as we did not take possession of the home until after a hard freeze. The professionals at Wind River Spas made 2 service calls to do repairs and an additional visit today to insure that the tub was repaired and running correctly. It is working! The service technician walked me through operating the spa, showed me the breaker and gave me maintenance tips. The frustration of finding the tub damaged has been completely over shadowed by excellent customer service . We purchased our top of the line spa many years ago and honestly had trouble after trouble. First the jets stopped working. Found out it was fuses that we had to replace numerous times. A hole developed in fiberglass causing a major leak. WR repair guy came out and told us it wasn't covered because someone must have dropped something so no warranty. BS - it's called displacement. When you drop say a heavy glass or any object, it will not fall at a force to cause the hole. I would never buy another Wind River read more

We did a lot of research on Spas and are sure glad we found Wind River. We purchased our Spa in January 2020, the Hurricane model with Bluetooth. From the discussions with the salesperson, to picking out our colors and model it was a very pleasant, no pressure experience. The spa was delivered on time and setup was a breeze. I would like to mention that there was one small hiccup, the manufacturing team forgot to install the Bluetooth capability. How this was handled impressed me the most. When I explained the situation to the salesperson, Rick the owner called us personally to take care of the issue. He immediately apologized, and worked to correct the error. He had his factory installers (not a service technician) come out to the house and install the system as soon as the weather allowed. Having the owner of the company fully stand behind his product is unique in this day and age. To anyone reading this I would say that all hot tubs seem fantastic when you look at them in a showroom. what matters is a company and owner that stands behind their product. Check out the warranty and construction of Wind River spas and compare it to any other you investigate.. you wont regret it. Our daughter, sons and grandsons twisted our arms until we agreed to check into having a hot tub installed, several days of on-line window shopping and a few trips to local spa dealers did not make us hot tub owners. One stop at Wind River Spas and one hour with Tyler was all that it took for us to make our decision. By the way it has been one of our best decisions, next to, moving to Evergreen Co. From the initial site visit, area prep (by yours truly), pouring of the pad, final install, which required crane to get the tub close to the pad, we were soaking in the tub in less than 30 days. We just purchased our second hot tub from Wind River Spas. We wanted to upgrade to a larger spa and our old spa provided us 13 years of solid service. We could not have been happier about the whole process that Wind River Spas provided us. The sales associate we worked with was extremely knowledgeable about his products and was very attentive to understand what features were most important to us so that we could get exactly the right tub for us. He answered all of our many questions and steered us toward a very affordable spa perfect for us. Similarly priced tubs from other big-box retailers lack the features we were able to include, were built somewhere else without Colorado's demanding environmental conditions in mind. The delivery process was very smooth since Wind River was able to offer us a narrow delivery window so we didn't have to wait around for them to arrive. They were here promptly and very professional and polite. Wind River took our old spa away, delivered and installed the new tub and spent the time necessary to thoroughly explain operation and maintenance of the spa in easy to understand language. That said, one of the main reasons we love Wind River Spas is that maintenance is so easy! The spa itself is AMAZING! We opted for a nice big, beautiful tub with Bluetooth audio. Wind River cleverly delivers quality sound in the spa without the use of speakers which could be damaged by the tub's water. Transducers in the shell of the tub turn the spa into a speaker itself!
