Marty was sorely lacking in communication and follow through. It took a couple of months just to email us a statement of our account to see if there was a balance due or a refund so we could settle up since we had already hired another lawyer. He did end up apologizing and taking responsibility for the poor communication in the email in which he sent the final statement. So I guess that's better than not recognizing it at all. He completed just the initial steps of everything that he agreed to complete from our initial meeting with him and our new lawyer has completed pretty much everything in half the time for a fraction of the price.

Correspondence to me from Ms. Patterson was sporatic and often conflicting (received notices saying 'paid in full' and a few after that looking for payment). Additionally, failure of this firm to requst and obtain key documents regarding the assessments on my new townhome resulted in me becoming obligated to pay the prior homeowners special assessment. Surprise! I personally would not hire this firm for anything in the future.
