I asked for some legal advice and he was able to help me during our consultation. Jim is very professional and knowledgeable. Even years ago, I sensed that Jim is going to do great things. Pass forward a few years... I was hanging out with my parents while they were watching Vietnamese TV Channel 57.2 VietFace TV on a Thursday evening around 6:30pm. It was a segment where a lawyer was giving advice to the general public. Mhmm why does this guy look familiar?!?! Oh gosh I have met this person before! I should have asked for an autograph years ago if I knew he was going to be a celebrity. Anyways, that sparked me to come back for another consultation. I reached out to schedule an appointment for the following week and Jim was very quick to respond and accommodating with my schedule. Prior to the appointment, he even personally reached out to confirm the appointment time. When I entered the office, I was thoroughly impressed by the modern décor and new furniture. I was immediately greeted by the staff at front. They have a small waiting area and a lovely Keurig machine with custom mugs. Jim quickly came out to get me soon after I checked in and welcomed me to the conference room. This conference room is fancy with custom made coasters too. I'm the type to appreciate these little touches in a business. From the small talk in between the serious talk, I inquired when they moved to this new location. It was nice to hear that Jim decided he wanted to relocate his office to this Westminster/Little Saigon area to give back to the minority Vietnamese community. When I think of a lawyer like Jim, I feel like he is the best of both worlds. He has the cultural background and can speak Vietnamese to someone who is 1st generation to America like my parents. He also has a reputable education at UCI for undergrad and Chapman University for law school and experience being an attorney at Callahan, Thompson, Sherman & Caudill, one of California's most successful insurance defense firms. It is also very admirable that Jim continues to explore and collaborate with doctors and chiropractors to better understand and explain all things related to car accidents. For instance the doctor write ups following a car accident. It just really made sense when he was explaining things. Also while we were in the conference room, I definitely had too much fun with this magnetic street board and toy cars. He has it for demonstration purposes. Visuals are helpful regardless of the language you speak. I will definitely continue to follow his segments on Channel 57.2 VietFace TV on a Thursday evening at 6:30pm when time permits.
