I had an experience with Mr. Liem Do regarding my parents' upcoming living trust appointment that left me concerned. I called the office to discuss the pros and cons of a living trust versus a transfer-on-death (TOD) arrangement for the house my parents own. Since Mr. Do was unavailable, I spoke with Brian, who mentioned he would relay my request to Mr. Do. However, Mr. Do later returned my call to inform me that he had canceled my parents' appointment, suggesting that I could handle the TOD myself. I find it unprofessional that he canceled the appointment without confirming or clarifying my inquiry. This lack of communication raises doubts about his professionalism and the trustworthiness of the services he offers. read more

Beware of this law firm when you doing living trust. They asked you to submit all your financial statements, just like open your home's door and show them how much you have. This is not right. read more

The lawyer talked very nice on talk show, but the receptionists were very unprofessional when I called the office. When I called to ask if we could make appointment to see the lawyer for a living trust for my aunt, the receptionist was extremely rude, acting like I was not invited, or the office did not want the business. I asked if I could leave my name and number to have the lawyer to call me back and make appointment. I was told by them in a very rude voice they would not do that. They would talk to my aunt and decide from there, like I am not allowed in the conversations. I have not officially met with them, but I could imagine we would face a lot of difficulty down the line if the living trust we pay them to serve are with errors and require corrections. They could make us worse down the line. My suggestion for you if you read my review is to stay away from the law office. read more

It's pretty rare that I take the time to write a Yelp review, but I feel more than compelled to share my experience with this firm. They were very reliable and responsive. They always answered our questions efficiently and gave us as more information as they could. They constantly kept us updated as well. They handled all of our medical bills from the hospital and the physicians that we treated with. Thank you Mr. Liem Do, Paul Do, Ms. Aileen, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Anh and Brian. Thank you "Liem H. Do & Associates" for all your help! We couldn't have asked for a better firm to represent us for our case. Great work everyone! read more

Very interesting 1st encounter. I called the office based on a recommendation of a close friend for a Living Trust. A gentleman who answered the phone spoke in broken Vietnamese saying we need to call back in 2 weeks and then we can talk to the attorney as he's busy now. I was taken back by this strange response as though they didn't want my business. I asked why he couldn't take a message and have lawyer call me back and he just repeated the same statement. I thought maybe the lawyer had to be in court, so I asked further and finally was told he was out of town. Typically in a well-run office, for a new customer, shouldn't you just take a message and have the lawyer call back, or at least let the customer know the reason why the lawyer was not available for 2 weeks. First impression is everything and I was left feeling very disappointed. read more

My living trust was made 19 year ago at the law firm in Irvine, it is "one size fit all" very briefly, I found out it is not good and may create problems & headaches later for the heirs . I went to Liem H. Do & Associates office to do my living trust all over again, it was handled professionally, There are a lot of details that my "old LT" (and not valid anymore) not even mentioned. I am very satisfied, happy with this "new" living trust. Highly recommend the Liem H. Do & Associates law office Thanks Mr. Do for helping us. read more

They took great care of me and I was highly satisfied with the outcome. This year, in October 2023, I had my living trust established and the process was completed by the end of November 2023 at Liem H. Do & Associates. My case went well. They were able to get the maximum settlement of the case. It took a year to get it settled

First time hiring and first time needing a lawyer, easy communication and process but took awhile.

I would, and have on multiple occasions, recommend Liem Do & Associates. My mom was referred by a friend almost 8 years ago to go see LD&A after a car accident in which she was not at fault for. It was a tricky case, in that the other party directed blame towards my mom, even after admitting fault at the time of the accident- but, thankfully, she was able to win the case. At that time, my mom had zero clue on how to navigate a situation such as that. She'd never been out in a situation where she had to hire an attorney. She knew nothing about how laws worked. Haha. But after consulting with them, they kind of just took the wheel and made the whole process easy for her com start to finish. My dad, brother and I were also put into similar situations, with all 3 of our cases ending up settled in our favor. My car accident actually occurred while I was out of state for grad school. My mom advised that I contact LD&A, in which I thought... how? I don't even live in CA. I called anyway, and Aileen worked her magic and got me the medical care I needed while I was out of state. How? I don't know. But she did. She maintained close communication with me and made the whole process seamless. I know there are some curious folks out there wondering... well, you won the case, but did you get a reasonable settlement? Yes, for 4/4 cases I'd mentioned. My partner is currently working with Aileen right now due to a motorcycle accident in which he was injured. I had referred him to LD&A with confidence he'd be taken care of. read more

My family member was in an accident a couple of months ago that wasn't his fault. The lawyer he got was incompetent and charged him a lot of $$$ for a retainer. The case is still pending. I went to Liem Do and Associates for a second opinion. They kindly pulled all of the official legal records and examined the case. Afterwards, they explained that my family member was over-charged on the retainer and gave us advice on how to negotiate with the existing lawyer we had! They explained that the case was near completion and it didn't make sense to move it. Not only that, they didn't charge us for the advice, even though they had to pay money to pull the legal records! I wish we had gone to Liem Do and Associates in the first place! Great service and ethics. read more

I would think twice before coming here. If you do expect your case to be a long process and also, be aware of a smart ass mouth from their office manager (Michelle). That woman is rude to the bones. She thinks she married the owner she can said and do whatever she wants to the clients. Keep in mind Michelle without us client you wouldn't have a business to run ok? So my suggestion to you are as follow be nice to your clients and stop being a bitch. It's a small community words will get around. Thank you! read more

Attorney Liem is very professional-- punctual, organized, and knowledgeable. He thoroughly explains legal terms, and truly wants the best for his clients. The reason I am leaving a four star review is because of the receptionist, Michelle. As another review mentioned, she is extremely unprofessional and rude. My mom and I came in saying we had an appointment at 1 pm. She said the attorney never takes appointments at that time, and she accused us of remembering incorrectly. Instead of asking the attorney, we had to prove it through his email. There was no apology afterwards either. Attorney Liem is one of the best attorneys though, so I could overlook his receptionist. read more

Had my first meeting with their office and was very pleased. Aileen was personable, thorough, patient and nice. She listened and took notes and was very thorough in everything. We came in because we were involved in a car accident where another car crashed ours. Just wanted to do a quick review since this business only had 1 other review so far! read more

Michelle was a very unprofessional & rude person. I spoke with her on the phone, made an appointment to see the attorney on Sep 26. Took time off work, came to the office & waited for 45', then she told me that I didn't have the appointment at all. So I just wasted my time & money coming to their office for fun ????? Great law office. We came in for a living trust service and the attorney provided thorough explanation of the process. He did not rush on time like other law offices do, so have as many questions as you can. we got a shiny engraved binder for the premium paid. The Associates seem fine except for the notorizer lady who displayed quite an attitude - she came in to sign off some paper while texting on her phone and didn't seem to care that we were there or for good customer service. The attorney should use his big hammer (pic) on her a bit more often. Overall a pleasant experience. read more
