Daniel Kim is TOPS in his field. He communcates personally with his clients as does his very helpful staff. Even when I contacted him initially about a possible case that we didn't pursue he gave me his personal contact info so I would have it if I needed him. Truly friendly and nice man! It is very important when you are in a vulnerable situation to have a person that actually cares about you and is ethical and will not take advantage of the situation because you are vulnerable and hurting. My manipulating unethical divorce attorney hurt me in spades and as a result I didn't know what to expect in this new situation. As I mentioned above, Daniel had given me his information in a short conversation awhile back, so I decided to give him a try when this hit and run accident happened to me... and I am so glad that I did! The day came when I did need him I was hit by a hit-and-run drunk driver in a big white truck. It was terrifying and not only did my car get damaged but the accident left me with some back and neck pain. Daniel got me in touch with some doctors right away both regular doctors, also chiropractic an mri office. The mri showed some spine and neck trauma from being hit. This was also during a very difficult time it was during the pandemic lock down beginning a few weeks after the accident. The insurance company like most insurance companies are pretty heartless and they said because the guy was a hit-and-run that I couldn't claim uninsured motorist ! (A dirty little secret in the insurance industry that they pull on people.) Since my car is when that I have had since it was new in 2010 I would didn't have it insured for a lot of money but car means a lot to me. Now I also had pain to deal with. Through the chiropractic and pain specialist people Daniel set me up with I was able to get therapy, and am doing much better. All through the process, the staff at Daniel Kim's offices were in touch updating me, encouraging me and very helpful in seeing this process through. It took awhile but not excessive time. And I never felt ignored, or that they weren't working on my case. I knew they were. Daniel got my insurance to pay the full amount on my policy so I was able to cover the doctors and even repair my dear car. We all see the commercials for accident attorneys. We laugh or groan lol. I have to agree with every single "1 Star" review listed. I concur with every complaint mentioned. It's been 7 months since we were t-boned in an auto accident. The case is very clear, person ran red light, admitted to it and has insurance. We have complied with every request, MRI completed, 20 chiropractic treatments, visit pain management Dr., Cortisone shot, seen a neurosurgeon, who states that my husband need 3 discs replacement in his neck. I am being told that they are still waiting for the Hospital record for my husband from 7 months ago before they can move to next step. Multiple people have been working this case, keep getting transfers to someone new. No one will return your calls, you have to track them down, then you get either someone who doesn't know how to answer you or you get the "Supervisor", who is rude and condescending. This is being dragged out for way too long. You would think they would want to get paid, much less their clients, in a timely manner. When I got into an accident I turned to Yelp to help find a lawyer.... In June it will be a year since my accident and my case is still open. I have been sent to collections due to the "attorney" and/or department at the stage my case was at failed to pay attention to the due dates. The chiropractor they sent us to never had a "Doctor" in and I still currently have issues with my hand. Simple daily tasks like sweeping,vacuuming, folding laundry are painful yet they were unable to get me any money as it is being allocated in "medical bills". I have also been yelled at and disrespected by someone handling my claim, and worst of all he was a supervisor. My daughter and myself were hit while parked in front of my daughter High School back in September of 2022. You can only imagine how scary and traumatic this event was for the both us. We both went to ER next morning due to severe neck pain. I started looking for lawyers online and came across Daniel Kim saw a few reviews and honestly that first phone call every single person I spoke to was very helpful and friendly, but as time went on I kept getting referred to different people with in their office and starting noticing lack of communication. There was this specific woman that was helping me with my medical part of my case and honestly was almost forcing me to do medical stuff that I felt I didn't need at time. I spoke to someone regarding that situation but honestly wasn't any helpful. At that time I was about 6 months into the case and advised them that I wanted to move forward with another lawyer because I felt they were not doing what was in my best interests. They said if I did that I would still have the pay them for the work they did so I felt forced to stay . It has now been over a year and 5 month they have lack in communication every time I email or call I never get a response. I have to continue calling until I can speak to someone all they tell me is there still working on my case. It's very frustrating and disappointing to have this type Of people working on such an important case in your life while not being able to work due to the injuries. I have not a single clue as to what I would have done without the law offices of Daniel Kim. It all started with a Mercury Villager that rammed into the back of my Toyota Camry back in October of last year in Orange County. When I say I was in pain it is an understatement. I have previously hired Daniel Kim many years ago after I had been involved in a car accident in Anaheim. Unfortunately, I was rear-ended in a truck accident that resulted in neck and lower back injuries that required a long treatment process with a chiropractor and pain management doctor after my MRI.
