We arrived on time and were shown to the drinks lounge, where we would have a drink and mull over the food menu, we felt a little edgy and a bit out of place, all very swanky, but after being there for a bit, we settled into the settings and the people around us. After looking at the menu we couldn't quite decide on what to have, so we opted for the seven course taster menu. The food was amazing, fine dining at it's best and the service matched the food, they really did look after us. The price of the seven course was £60 a head, quite pricey but for Michelin star service and food, it's pretty reasonable. Our whole experience was great and one will won't forget in a long time. My foot was delicious. I got cesar salad, salmon, and chocolate cake. They were super nice to Matt's niece who is 3. They made her special kids food. She seemed to love it too. We ordered the katsu burger with fried chicken as the meat and I ordered the heiffer with a 60%40% Chuck/pancetta Patty and fried chicken and both were simply perfect. The meat in my Patty was a perfect pink in the center and lovely with the smoked cheese melted smoothly over the top of it. The bun was divine as well. The katsu burger really mimics well the katsu sauce we had in Kyoto and Tokyo earlier this year and really worked with the fried chicken. Now for the star of the show. The Pad Thai Fries were out of this world. I devoured every last bit of these fries despite how full I was from the burger. Overall, this was the best meal I've eaten in Eastbourne and the best burger Ive eaten anywhere in quite a while which includes burgers in the states. They also have a very interesting array of drink selections to quench your thirst while eating these massive burgers. I might have to come back to Eastbourne just to eat here again
