They came this Monday I almost cancelled appointment glad I didn't Lainie did a thorough inspection and what she found was disturbing she said Fireplace was upward of 20+ years old. She doesn't believe it was ever cleaned there had been a few fires there was no ventilation as soot and what not had clogged it completely. I shudder to think what could have happened had we used it. I value my life and my families lives. The Fireplace cannot be used have a contractor coming to give recommendations my advice is that if you haven't had your Fireplace Inspected and Cleaned by a Chimney Sweep it's the best 125.00 I have ever spent. No excuses make that call for you and your families safety. Thank You Lainie Walker and Louisiana Fireplace!!

The previous occupant kept dogs and cats in the house and my nose and sinuses would let me know as soon as I walked in. I called around and got estimates. They took care of me quickly and went over everything making sure I understood what needed to be done. Both Ronnie and Renee will answer your questions about the work and explain how hvac works most efficiently. You can tell from talking to Renee she has hvac in her blood. Her family is the original Brooks hvac, she and Ronnie her husband took this segment when her Dad and Mom got out of the business. Once after the inside unit caught fire. Over a year later it's been one problem after the next. I had to call another company and was told they've never seen such a botched job and they were floored. I called Brooks to complain and let them know of my disappointment and was told I have no common sense by the owner's wife. She got very ugly with me for the horrible job they did. I had a right to be upset, but they cared only about themselves rather than apologize for all the inconvenience and money and time I've spent trying to use a $7,000.00 unit that's been a nightmare. At first they are very nice, but if you call them out on the job they do, they are very mean people. They even called my husband and chewed him out after I left my rating of them on a different website. Once they never showed up for a scheduled appointment because he forgot. I would keep looking for someone else if I were you. This place never was able to fix their mistake and they are unprofessional.
