The bride was having wedding day jitters on Friday, and she accidentally backed her SUV into the groom's pickup. She broke her passenger-side tail light; and it had to be replaced immediately that day, or there would be no wedding bliss. After looking him up on Yelp, I called up Mark. Although he was not able to supply me the part himself, he went the extra mile and told me where I could find it. The man is great. There was absolutely nothing in it for him, but he still went the extra mile to help me out. I was able to install the tail light before the wedding and averted a disaster. My car was in need of an oil change and I had a recent disappointment at a dealership so I was…read moreseeking another outlet beside Jiffy Lube who I promised myself I would never go to again. I noticed that this new store had opened and it hadn't been there very long and so I decided that I would go in and see if I can get an oil change done. First of all of this location was built where a bank used to sit and unless you live in the town, you're not gonna know that it's there. But it's located on the corner of 27th and Iowa and its very visual. Access to the facility is very easy to get to and it is not crowded. First of all they have a sign in the front of their building that says oil change in 15 minutes. I was skeptical when I saw the sign because I've never had an oil change done that fast, but I went ahead and pulled into the line. I was immediately greeted by a blonde female and I was impressed that I was looking at her uniform and I seen all the dirt and oil on it knowing that she's working as a mechanic and making a decent salary then did my heart good to see a woman working there. She greeted me and was very friendly and told me where to park. there were five other cars ahead of me. One negative thing did happen was that they made me change lanes four times. They had me move from Lane one to lane three, then from Lane three to Lane two and then eventually made me move back to Lane one, then they made me back out so that someone in lane two could get in front of me in Lane one. I know that's a lot and and it was extremely frustrating and that's why that was an issue for me. As far as I could see there were six mechanics all working the three lanes not to mention the people who were under your car doing the oil change so they were well staffed and well-equipped. The place was clean. No trash or debris, it was spotless. They all helped each other and worked in teams of two. Most of all they were engaging. they kept talking with me. I had a guy who told me everything that I need to know. He showed me what the level in my car was, showed me the filter, everything I needed to know he informed me of . in the past, I had oil changes done and nothing was never communicated with me, until it's time to pay the bill so I did feel that this place was a step above other places in that respect. Now I do believe the oil change is a little expensive but I don't think it has to do with the company so to speak. I think it's just inflation in general. And they have to stay competitive with other businesses that do the same, so I get it. Overall I would recommend going to this Valvoline and even though they promised they can get it done in 15 minutes I was there probably 35 minutes but even that is better than sitting in a dealership waiting for hours for a simple oil change

Could not believe my bad luck with the screw. I was panicked. What in the world was I going to do? Thankfully, my friend suggested that I take my car to Westside 66. I actually looked at him like he was crazy because it was a Sunday afternoon. He assured me they were still open. I have to confess that I did not entirely believe him. LOL. He said, "They can fix it in 10 minutes and it will cost you about $16." Yeah, right. So I headed Westside 66 and kept my fingers crossed. The cashier told me to pull around back and they would look at the tire. Honestly, within ten minutes... the tire was fixed and it cost $16. I could not believe my good luck on finding this place. The mechanic who worked on my tire was nice, professional and he knew exactly what to do to get me fixed. He did not waste time with small talk and he got me right on my way. The cashier was very nice and courteous. She, too, was professional and very helpful. I appreciate her guidance. I asked her if they had been busy and she said it was a slow day for them. It was hard to believe it was a slow work day because both bays were filled and other cars were lined up for service. I will definitely go back to this station for service. I had counted on being there for hours but it was quick, efficient, professional service. WOW. Still cannot believe my luck with this wonderful shop.
