Despite growing up around here, I somehow never stumbled through these grand entrance gates until recently. This gem of a garden isn't just my butt's savior now on long drives up from LA, but it's a sliver of paradise found--and sanity regained. Just walking around here for 15-20 mins. and you'll feel your blood pressure drop a few notches to a pleasant state of calm. You can explore the themed areas, take in the vegetation around you, and get landscaping tips just from strolling around their property. The plant things are grouped in various climate/hemispheres and it's nice to see them taking root and being incorporated in a seamless design (and it's nice shopping experience too). I was impressed with the selection and bought a few small air plants and succulents that are still thriving with offshoots. Prices are reasonable. For pros looking for inspo, I think this place that can offer Interior Designers & Landscapers creativity with plants. Or even the DIY Weekend Warrior looking to revamp their current landscaping or add a little something new to it. They have a wide variety of exotics, California natives to indigenous to Australia, and every other tree, shrub, and greenery in between. Since it's the year of the (hobby) horse, I'll be sure to get my butt up here more often in 2026.

As a store there's all sorts of different plants and gardening items that you'd need. I like to…read morestop by solely for the botanical gardens in back. It's a nice small excursion if traveling to LA. What a wonderful concept to put a botanical garden on the property, it could show what you could do with the plants that they sold. It's tranquil to walk around and explore yet it is right next to the 101 so the freeway was loud. They really packed a lot of diversity into this small area. There were plaques for each different garden. Plaques I noticed (though there might be more) were South African Garden, Mediterranean Garden, Grassland, Cottage Garden, Native Garden, Succulent Garden, Central/South American garden, Australian garden, and Asian garden. My favorite was the Asian garden because it had a pond with koi fish.

SO PROFESSIONAL....THE HARDEST WORKING COUPLE!!! From the moment I spoke to Anita on the phone,…read moreshe conveyed such kindness, willingness to listen and reassurance. She and her husband definitely went above-and-beyond 99% of people....from accommodating my busy schedule to giving me an estimate in-person, to providing me with a very reasonable rate for their services...Jose and Anita are prompt, courteous and kind. We asked them t help remove a literal ton of landscape rock and overhaul a large 30 foot by 100 foot piece of land in our side front yard that had been severely neglected and damaged by previous renters. Not only did Jose and Anita show up on time, but they worked for two days with little to no break to conduct a miraculous transformation. YOU LITERALLY MUST SEE MY ATTACHED BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS!!! We also learned that Jose and Anita have a twice per month maintenance service and we gladly agreed to signing up.....so so happy that we met these two. I've not met a harder working couple, ever! They cleaned and hauled a literal ton of rock, manicured the land and planted about 15-20 plants. They ripped out, old dead shrubs and then completely trimmed, raked and pruned our entire property. I told Anita that their great work literally almost brought me to tears....beyond my expectations. I highly, highly recommend Medina Yard Care to anyone who seeks professional, thorough and affordable services. I will be using them well into the future and will be telling all my friends about them as well!!!

The prices are very reasonable. The smell of jasmine hits you as soon as you're in the parking lot. It's so pleasant and inviting. I really enjoyed walking through the garden. Each area is filled with whimsical ceramics, and running fountains that bring tranquility. This place has everything you need to start gardening. I especially enjoyed walking through the store. It has lots of cute trinkets to add to your plant collection or home decor. Overall, a beautiful place to check out. Looking forward to building my sacred space garden shopping here.

Living here in Goleta I did not know of Terra Sol, and so it was a much welcomed surprise to walk into their lush green space. Their staff was very helpful in directing us towards the different areas of plants, statuary, pottery, fountains, and also to their well stocked areas of garden tools, soils, and pretty much everything you need to help keep your garden and outdoor areas green and colorful. And all very reasonably priced. And for those of you wanting to start a Zen Garden, their selection of Buddah Statues, Fountains, and Pagoda Lanterns is a great place to start. Conveniently located in North Goleta, off of Patterson Avenue, between Highway 101 and Hollister Avenue, and a stone's throw from the Santa Barbara Humane Society and the US Post Office.
