This place is kind of hit or miss, but I don't think it's fault of the workers.
They appear exhausted.
They've always interacted with me rather professionally, although sometimes it would be a benefit if they would speak up; but then again, as I said they can appear exhausted.
They see their fair share of con artists trying to pull the old "I swear the money was sent, just credit me now and we'll sort it out later" scam; as if that was even an option for a professional business following guidelines.
But those patrons protest for up to a half an hour sometimes, doing an entire song-and-dance routine trying to pressure the workers to give them something for free. Of course they never do; they do all the system checks they can to help them, but of course no one ever sent any money.
I see this every time I go there.
A large portion of their customer base also appear to be "assisted living" patrons, many of whom appear to have untreated (mental) illness that come there to cash their Social Security checks or to get money orders to pay their rent.
They take up waiting time for other patrons due to their various antics, which include rants, preaching, scolding, dropping things constantly, poor manners, etc.
By the time the average customer gets to the window, the average worker has spent time talk to at least 2 con artists and 2 divas and have been unjustly solded in at least 3 languages.
I honestly think they just need to hire security, although I thought they had at one point (I haven't seen them recently). read more
