I visited the facility ahead of my dogs' stay and was greeted right away. The staff gave me a full tour, showing the different room options and both the indoor and outdoor play areas. I also noticed there were a lot of employees present during my visit, which gave me peace of mind knowing the dogs are well cared for. They even suggested bringing my dogs in for day camp before their stay, which I really appreciated. I dropped them off for a few hours, and that helped me feel even more confident moving forward. I booked a 3-night stay and received updates when I called to check in, which I loved. When I picked them up, I was greeted immediately again, and the staff was just as friendly as before. Most importantly, my dogs seemed happy--and that means everything. I'll definitely be using Applewood Pet Resort for all my future boarding needs

We arrived at 11am and got him checked in, they called when they were ready to start and we talked about doing just a "standard" doodle cut, keeping him cool for summer. We picked him up around 4pm and he was SO handsome! The matted fur in his ears was good, we could see his eyes, he smelled delicious and he looked like a new dog! Francine was so lovely and gave me a tour if the gorgeous facility. She took the time to explain grooming, day camp and overnight options with me. She recommended Tori to groom my handsome havanese, named Teddy brewski and she does an amazing job. Teddy adores Tori and I just can't handle the cuteness. She listened to all of my concerns (as Teddy is getting a little older) and had a few details that need a bit of extra attention. I am so happy and so is Teddy because he loves being the most handsome dog in the 85253. We love her so of course we recommended furbabies to my parents. My parents recently rescued a beautiful cocker spaniel named Josie but were a little concerned as she had a pretty rough life before being adopted. She was so scared and timid so we didn't know how she would interact at a doggy day care or grooming. But, Francine took the time with my parents and explained training options offered at fur babies as well as doggy day camp. So, Josie went for training sessions and to play with some other doggies. Each time she did a little bit better than the last. Josie built up the courage to get groomed and has been getting gorgeous by Tori and most recently spent an entire vacation in a suite at fur babies! She did so well. We were sent updates in a portal with pictures of Josie each day. When we returned, Francine told us that Josie blossomed into a confident dog! It has been beautiful to see the transformation from a once timid and scared dog to a gorgeous and confident cocker spaniel! She loves other dogs and is now doing photo shoots! Who knew we had two models in the family? We can't say enough about the entire group of people that work at the fur babies in paradise valley. There is a person there 24 hours a day and the facility is amazing! Just walking in the doors and watching the dogs play is an instant seratonin boost. No wonder why all the people that work there are so happy! Highly recommend for your most precious furry friend!
