There are so many therapeutic tools at your disposal that are wonderful for the working horse or one in rehab. Seriously such a wonderful group of people and horses. About 5 days a week, I drive 50+ min to this barn just to see/ride my horse, but the drive is so worth it.

I don't normally write reviews but I just wanted to share my opinion, I have been taking my lessons…read morewith Cindy since April 2024 over time this year my lessons kept on getting canceled. Due to family stuff and etc okay I understood for the first few times but it continues to happen my mother talked to her about this issue she got very defensive wasn't understanding was always talking over my mother not letting her get a word in.... It seems like with her show kids she doesn't cancel on them as frequently which is extremely !!FRUSTRATING!!! I feel like I'm not pushed or challenged enough during lessons with my horse and I and when my lessons get canceled how am I going to learn things when I'm not being taught?? When you first start taking lessons off Cindy she is a very sweet individual but over time it seems like she has changed she is still kind and respectful but sometimes she just comes off as rude and annoyed. But over-all the board for the horses is fine my mom pays $525 a month we get every penny used from it, my horses stall is big she gets to go out all day and all night for the summer but they bring them back in to feed.... Down side about the fields they are SUPER DUPER MUDDY ankle deep mud sometimes, when riding inside the inside arena is super tiny and is no help I hardly have space in there to do a canter and when it's raining for her lesson kids she brings all four inside whenever I want to ride I can't because of them. Another downside is that the workers throw water in the inside around sometimes I cannot even lunge my horse due to how wet it is; the one time I was lunging her she slipped and fell over cause off a wet spot and had also tripped and almost fell over ‍

The owner hired a 25 yr. old know it all Fall 2019 and soon things changed and not for the better. More rules, extra charges- not in my board contract. Anyhow, if you like drama & people in your business then this is the place for you! Boarders always bickering with each other or the owner. One boarder always coming drunk and one day I witnessed her hitting another vehicle in the parking lot. Workers only care about the paycheck. They only wanted to give my horse 1 bucket of water cause they didn't want to clean the 2nd bucket. Two different times my horse didn't have access to water in the pasture. Owner skimps on hay and only cares about the money. Barn closes at 7pm. Anyhow, I could go but I think you get the idea.

I would NOT send you children here. My daughter has attended other week long camps this summer and…read moredid great. However this camp was the complete opposite. On Tuesday she got sick with an ear infection, she told her counselor several times Tuesday and also Wednesday and all she did was get an attitude with her and do nothing but ignore the fact that she was sick . My daughter has chronic ear problems to the point of were she needs hearing aides. Finally on Thursday after her complaining for a third day to her counselor she reluctantly said ok to taking her to the nurse. On Thursday she had seen the nurse and I was in contact with her trying to get her medicine order for an inner ear infection that she suffered with for days before being seen for it. I asked several times and for hours to speak with her and they kept telling me I couldn't. Not realizing that my daughter was also asking for 3days to speak with me. Finally after 3 days and several hours I got a call from her. A male and female called and put us on speaker phone so they could hear everything I was talking about with my daughter even after asking for them to take us of speaker and they pretended they did. I knew something was wrong with the way she was stuttering which is a nervous thing she does. She also started crying and only kept saying she was fine and did nothing want picked up. I came to find out that before calling me my daughter was directed on what to say to me. What she was allowed to talk about and what she was not allowed to talk to me about. The whole phone call she was being told what she was able to say to me. She wanted to come home for she did not feel well but I wasn't allowed to know that. Who has the right to make my daughter feel the way she did and to be scared to not only talk to me but to ask them for help. I would never send her here again and or will never recommend this camp to others. It is a disgrace that my child was treated and felt the way that she did while attending camp and not being able to confine on me enough to go and pick her up. The should be ashamed of themselves.
