We have had a WA roof since 2016 and couldn't be happier with quality of materials, workmanship, speed of installation, thoroughness of waster removal and cleanup. My purpose here is to thank WA and their representative Adam for coming out to inspect the roof for possible damage caused by animals that had invaded our attic. Adam personally visited, flew a drone for several minutes to see if there was obvious damage. Seeing none he climbed to the roof and walked the whole area. The roof is completely intact. I tried to pay for his time but was told "no charge" since I was a customer. This is a top notch company and you cannot go wrong if you need a new roof and rest assured you will no be ignored if you have a problem years down the line. BTW, animal entry apparently was via soffits which are vinyl, although damage to those is not apparent. Tree branches next to the house were cut way back where they can't get in and the problem has been solved! read more

I called Willow Ash with a problem concerning a third floor deck. My house is fairly new, but the third floor deck finish wasn't done properly and In the beginning, this company was awesome. The owner, Ryan, came out and listened to my original vision and came up with a solution on how to fix it and assured me that he would find product that would create the finish that I was looking for. He sent me a quote of $2,400 which I had no reason to question because according to their reviews this company is great. I was sent a link for a deposit which I paid immediately. Once a product was found, colors were picked and a date was set (setting a date took forever) they were able to get to work. The problems really began with his worker, Jose. Jose came out and sanded down the original finish and properly (?) graded the deck. When the initial product went down it was not the correct color but I was assured that if I wasn't happy once they were done, they would come back and lay another color on top. From here on out it took weeks to get the project finished. Whether or not Jose would show up was up to fate and I never knew if a guy I didn't really know was going to show up at my house as I was getting ready for work. Initially, we noticed that cracks were starting to appear even before the job was finished. I was assured of a solution. It took a while for this new product to get shipped, but Jose finally came back with another product to put down that apparently was supposed to "fix" the cracks for good. In the end, I hated the color, but was told that it would cost more $$ to change the color even after I was assured it would be no problem to lay another color on top. Once the job was "done" or so I thought, I came upstairs to find that epoxy was on door, the door knob, hardwood floors and walls of the deck itself. I complained so the owner sent Jose back out to "fix" it but to this day there is *still* epoxy on surfaces of my home. At this point, I have to admit I wasn't thrilled, but the job was done and I could finally enjoy my deck. I was assured BY THE OWNER that if cracks ever appeared he would come out and fix it no problem. When it came to actually paying the bill, he added on charges because the job "took longer than expected". It was over $300 dollars more than the original quote and this was done without any communication. I disputed the extra amount because any delay in this project was certainly not because I was delaying the project seeing as how it was HIS worker doing the work. He did eventually change the bill so it was the original quoted amount and I paid under the assumption and assurance that any cracks would be addressed. Inevitably, months later the cracks started to appear. As time went on the cracks got worse, but I wasn't worried because the owner said he would fix them no problem. I called him and he actually seemed to care. He said he would research another product and send Jose out to fix. Of course, I never heard from him again. I called multiple times and was always told something different. Eventually, he basically asked me what the heck did I expect him to do? I kept a texting chain going and at times he would text and say could they come back to take a look, but when I responded I would never hear back. Eventually, I sent an email which received no response. I actually had a contractor come out and give me a product recommendation which I sent to Ryan at Willow Ash Roofing and he never responded again. My deck is still not fixed and looks way worse than it originally did. At this point, I've been quoted the SAME amount to fix a deck that I paid to have refinished in the beginning. This is the most unprofessional, unethical, shady company I had the displeasure to know. It was as bad as pulling teeth trying to get a roof replacement with all the problems. They are full of delays and excuses. I wasted three months, from 10/10/23 to 1/18/2024, trying to get appointments to stick, straight answers, relevant information, and my concerns addressed before signing their one way and one-sided contract. In that amount of time, I got to really see what and who I was dealing with. I finally ended my misery and moved on to get a mutually agreeable contract, that would also include my interests. Their contract is set up to avoid accountability. They refuse to provide a written START and FINISH date. They won't provide a written clause to protect your roof from rain and storms while under contract. After pulling teeth, having to go back and forth for answers, it turns out they don't even have a crew. This family business consists of the owner and a field worker. The owner subcontracts the work.Their website is full of admirable stories about being a family business and rooted into the community. Most of what I read in the "About Us" section on their website, is what led me to contact them. Unfortunately, after three months of them playing games and wasting my time, I dug around to investigate. He just recently moved here and took over the business from the previous owner. There's no attention to details, and a lack of communication. It appears there's a lack of staff and management issues. There's so much more I can say about all their claims, but will say you need to do your homework and watchout. Roll up your pants, the crap is deep. read more

What a wonderful experience with Willow Ash roofing - - noticed a water stain on my wall and immediately thought --roof leak! Called Ryan at 6:00 pm with Willow ash roofing - - he immediately reviewed some scenarios and assured me he would come out and take a look at it the next day! He did indeed follow through and after inspecting my very hot attic, discovered it was not a roofing issue--it was the air conditioning instead. Also alerted me to possible pest issue. Can't tell you what piece of mind Ryan provided with his speedy inspection. While I didn't need a roof repair today, if need arises in the future, Willow Ash roofing will be my first and only call ! Willow Ash roofing completed a new roof 10/14/2009. The cost was approximately $7000. There were no immediate issue with the roof. In August of 2012 the roof above our master bedroom began to leak. WIllow ash installed the incorrect type of shingles for the slope of our roof. The owner of the company was extremely rude when I contacted him and he blamed our insurance company for not approving roll shingles. I immediately contacted the insurance company and was told roll roofing was not requested. We were not informed that we should use roll roofing on that part of the roof and we would have gladly paid the additional fee. After much back and forth Willow Ash paid for a portion of the incorrectly installed roof. They did nothing about the damage caused by their faulty installation regarding the interior of our home. In January of 2016 we noticed that we had 6 water stains in various areas of the house. When my husband went on the roof he noticed that a large area of our roof was buckled. I again contacted the owner of willow ash. He immediately started yelling at me and cursing at me. He again blamed my insurance and I informed him that was unacceptable. He was so hostile that I switched to email and text correspondence only. I also wanted a paper trail of our conversations. I asked numerous times for a specific list of what his 10 year warranty covers. I was never given the list. The owner informed me that he would send someone to look at the roof. He insisted that he sent people to my house three times but never once did he tell me a time they would be at my house. I would have gladly met them there but he assumed that I would always be home. I asked if we could meet in the middle and we pay for the materials and he cover the labor. At this point I had Dr. Roof come out and was told I need an entire new roof! That is the second roof in 9 years! The installation was so poorly completed that the nails are rotting. The singles were not properly installed. I again contacted the owner and he informed me that I was being "scammed and sold a new roof". I had another roofing come out and was told the exact same thing. A total reroof. At this point we are filing a claim with the BBB and a claim in small claims court. The owner is rude, disrespectful, aggressive, and dishonest. He is refusing to even disclose what his warranty covers which is apparently nothing. Under no circumstance should you use WILLOW ASH. They do terrible work and do not honor their work. This is top notch family run business. Ryan Sancho and his wife, Ginny who manages the phone and scheduling, are professional and prompt. Ryan came right out when we called and found our leaks. He set the ball in motion to replace our roof. Before the installation date we had a huge rain and he came out on a Sunday morning to check things out and reassure us. The roof is in and we are dry again. He even gave us a name to repair and paint the damaged wall. This is a wonderful family and business. read more
