I also repeatedly asked whether claims had been submitted and was told they had been. When I contacted one of my insurance companies, however, a representative told me that no claim had been received from the practice. It appeared that one insurance plan had been billed while the other had not. I paid the balance requested without hesitation because I trusted the practice and its expertise. My calls were not always returned, and the responses I received often felt incomplete. Transparency is extremely important when patients are making costly healthcare decisions. We pay for insurance, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket expenses, so reducing our costs matters to us just as reimbursement matters to a provider. Morris Park Dental may still be a convenient option for people seeking several services in one place, and the staff members I encountered were pleasant. I am being sent texts every other day sometimes twice a day with a reminder that my appointment is coming up and if I don't respond back saying I would be there. I would be charged $100 after I say yes I would be there via text. The texts continue with the same thing following day and reminding me of my copay to which I already know about which is very annoying all the days and numerous texts I received about this appointment even on day of few hours before. At this point I am annoyed with all these texts that I received the whole week before my appointment. Then when I get there I get my X ray, teeth cleaned which they do good with. The problem is the Doctor Edly he has me sitting and waiting for him to check in my mouth to make sure everything is OK gums, teeth etc along with looking at my Xray. I've sat in the chair for over half and hour after I'm done with my cleaning to check my teeth and he sends his other workers to stall and tell me he is coming over soon and soon becomes never. After tge half hour is up he sends his workers to tell me he is working on someone else's mouth and can't come over and that everything is fine with my teeth without ever coming over to look at my teeth/gums. He has done this many times to me already. I can't remember the last time ive seen this Dentist in person throughout the years. Mind you me he's in the next room and refused to come and seems to make himself busy everytime I come in. So they text and call me all week long to come in but then when I'm there does not complete my dental visit. This is very unprofessional and I've never been treated like this before by any other dentist before in past. It's bad enough I already feel queasy when going there because it looks and feels like a former funeral parlor there. But I must say that even a mortician at a funeral parlor would treat me much better than I've been treated by this Dr at this Dentist office. I don't know what's the problem here but you'll definitely lost me as a patient here. I'm done and moving forward somewhere better than this place.

My work schedule allows very little flexibility for medical appointments during regular business hours. Luckily, Dental Smiles Unlimited is classified as "In-Network" by my insurance provider. Perfect! But wait, it gets better... Dr. Merrick! He's the absolute best dentist I've ever had. Very gentle, charismatic and knowledgeable. When recommending a treatment plan, he asked about my dental concerns. "Was there anything I didn't like about my smile? How can he make my smile perfect?" Dr. Merrick made me feel so comfortable. He even asked me what I wanted to watch on the flat screen TV above my chair before starting my cleaning. Who does that? He does. I made it my business to refer colleagues and friends to Dental Smiles Unlimited. Excellent service!

Had an appointment this morning for 9 am. I was called by this rude receptionist exactly at 9 am…read morethat couldn't even pronounce my name correctly and when I corrected her caught a huge attitude. I explained I was two blocks away and the majority of the time I come exactly at 9 the doors have not even open yet. She proceeded to have an attitude and slammed the phone down on me. I arrived at the doctor's office at 9:03 am. Tanisha asked if okay and I said no that the person who just called me was rude and not even an apology or acknowledgment of the situation was addressed. The receptionist proceeded to tell me she wasn't rude and then rolled her eyes. My family and I have been with this establishment for years even before Dr. FINELY decided to open the adult side. The receptionist on this side needs more training on phone etiquette and customer service. It is currently 9:18 and I still have not been called.

Even when I was between different job positions, different dental plans and Dr Otto wasn't within my network, I waited- until my next dental plan did list him as my in-network dentist. Staff is always excellent, from the dental hygienist- Euris to the receptionist Daisy to Dr. Otto's Assistant- who's name escapes me- down to his wife-who always takes care of billing. Dr. Otto is a wonder. Always left out of here content with the few dental procedures I've gotten. He's a sharp shooter but with a cool sense of humor and will let me know what needs to be done and how to maintain my choppers. I don't know why I used to have this weird thought of walking into a dingy office and crummy tools. Not here! His office is inviting, rooms are pleasant and everything is spic and span. My one grip with her is she is a little OCD, but I guess you'd want that in a dentist, she wants her work to be as flawless as possible so I can't really complain even though these are some long appointments!
