So they charge it got an hour and I go back. The tester they didn't have earlier said it's good. So.... if the battery will hold a charge between the time they take it off the charger and the time they test it for voltage. It's good enough ? That is what I am told the policy is. The Battery is 8 months old and goes dead in a day or two which is ok by Walmart standards? The difference between the core charge ( $12 ) and the prorated refund value on a $60 battery can't be that much, so to lie to cheat the customer out of a few bucks is kind of despicable.

No one there looked or acted like they wanted to be there to start with. I had called before hand to ask how busy they were and was told to get there early because they are always busy.. I get there about noon and nobody was there. No line. Crickets! It seemed to be a seedy operation going on there. a real lack of professionalism. I wouldn't recommend it. Go at your own risk.

Once we got to the auto repair shop (Blackcreek Automotive) they unloaded my car, which was fully loaded from a road trip. I was coming home from a trip to Kansas back to Texas when my engine seized. The first unload was to the auto shop office. Then they moved it to one of their trucks. Freddy drove me to the local motel and waited until I got my room key. He then unloaded the truck and put my bags on the sidewalk while we waited for a working key. Then he even moved them from the sidewalk into the room. This was very important to me because I have to use a cane and was exhausted from the day. Highly recommend these guys. They made me feel safe and made sure I was okay.

Then I found Blackcreek Diesel and they were ready to rock and roll on the repair. Williams Towing safely transported the dually service truck and arrived at their shop about 3pm on a Thursday, by 5pm the assembly was disassembled and hub replaced, with parts on order for the next day. By 10:30am the next morning we were back on the road. They replaced the Hub, Rotor and Caliper and Pads with torque paint on the hardware! We made it back home in time for dinner. This was a great value for the the service and actually $200.00 less than the original estimate. Thank you John and crew!

For my emission repair, I needed a new canister and filter kit. For the two items, I was charged $395. Looking at the suggested retail price on the GM site it should have been $315 at the most. I looking at the majority of sites, you could possibly get the parts for $215. This was at least marginally acceptable; the part that was the worst is that the job took 2 hours from pulling in, to pulling out of the shop. The charge for labor was $411. I feel this is twice what it should have been. Overall I feel a fair price could have been $550-$574. I feel gouged for about $250. I will think twice when it comes time to deciding where to take my truck for the next repair.
