Now, a month later they pop my account for another payment ... call the office to find out she didn't cancel policy after all... it takes a week to get my money back... how can they take your money instantly but it takes a week to refund it when it was their mistake? Because the limbs weren't touching the house in any way, and cutting the limbs would destroy the shape of the tree, I decided to "shop around". I was open with Justin Jones about my reason for changing insurance companies and he let me send him pictures of the tree to double-check with his underwriter before writing the policy. All was fine! He was able to give me the same coverage for my home and auto policies at nearly the same rate as the other company, but I got to keep my beautiful tree! My experience was less than desirable as I'm paying $365 a month for insurance with a pretty much clean driving record other than a ticket. They didn't follow through when Chanan left and my insurance was not renewed and after being with State Farm for over 10 years was used to that most continuation rolling over. I was blind sited and thought I had insurance for a month before realizing I didn't have any. VERY unprofessional and still never heard any follow up from them. I feel they should have done more to get State Farm to repeal the loss of insurance.
