Richard and Robert came out the same day (within 2 hour time frame) I had called for service on a…read morenon-functioning septic pump. They pumped both tanks and replaced the non-working pump with a Little Giant-branded pump (good pumps by the way). Larry, the agent in the office explained why they didn't use a Zoller pump (used to be the gold-standard in pumps, but have had issues in recent years). The prior pump had lasted about 10 years and it was around $150 at the time. The new pump was $315, but what doesn't cost double what it did 10 years ago, so I don't believe I over-paid for it. They were both efficient, professional, and friendly (I like friendly). Anyway, the job was done correctly and efficiently, and both tanks were squeaky clean when they were finished. I hadn't compared pricing for the service, but my intuition says they were close in price to the competition. I would have Snyder's out again in a heartbeat. Great work, decent pricing, professional and friendly technicians. They should be on your short list if that type of service is ever needed. Thanks Richard, Larry, and Robert!

I'll give a 3 star because they did show up the day they said. And, once I notified them of a…read moreproblem, they fixed it. However, when I spoke with them to start the service, I had to give a detailed list of the issues. I asked what the cost of the initial visit would be, as I'd already had an offer of $150/initial visit. I was assured it was a FREE inspection and only if they needed to do work to figure out the problem would there be a charge and only after we agreed to the charge. Ok. Day of service, a young man comes late. He says he has all of my notes, but hasn't looked at them, so he wants me to tell him the problem. I do. I take him and show him the septic tank, which was part of the complaint. He takes a picture, tells me he has to call his boss because he doesn't know anything about septic systems. ??? He sits in his truck for awhile, talking to his boss. Comes in, says we need the septic pumped out before they can do anything. And they have a truck to do that but he doesn't think it's available. That'll be $98. That's it! So, I emailed the company, explained the situation. They were sorry, but explained that the initial cost will be returned if we don't use their service or applied to the work they do. Didn't I ask this very thing in advance?! So I obviously found a different company to do the work. I did get a refund check - but what a hassle. Not an upfront company.

Overcharged and Disappointed…read more Scam artist pricing. My parents were charged $300/hour for 4 hours, plus parts, an emergency fee, service-trip fee, and diagnostic fee. No estimate was provided before the work began. I understand Saturday emergency service costs more, but $300/hour is OUTRAGEOUS , especially when additional fees are being piled on top. Totaling:$1,500.00 He's not even union!!! When we questioned the charges, we were told he was not required to provide a breakdown of the material costs. I Would Not Recommend - unless you have money to burn.
