I cant believe what I went though with Dr.P. Tried to sell me a new unit. Do NOT recommend. Be weary, if you communicate any dissatisfaction, the team (husband/wife) tag team and scream. The husband was in the background literally yelling. I had to ask her to stop emailing me, in which she continued. I threatened to call the county attorney if she didn't stop. Not only did she NOT stop she had an officer call me to get my side of the story. He then called her to ask her to stop calling me. She is very dishonest. I do not post negative comments unless I feel the public needs to know. No business should ever scream and tag team a customer over nothing. It is on record however. I will NEVER use them again as well as 5 other people I have found in Oldham that feel the same. A good friend had a similar experience with them both. They are fake, not genuine people, it was their unprofessionalism that shocked me. They started work first thing the next morning, replacing the broken equipment, and then upgraded our furnace and AC units to more efficient models. What stood out the most however was the above and beyond service. Jesse and Cody were very thorough and even looked at things that others would not have. They double checked that some of the older equipment from the house was handling the updates correctly. They were able to identify where we had some bad electrical wiring and recommended an electrician. Our house is feels significantly comfier (temperature wise) than it ever had before. Amana HVAC system was installed October 2023 by THE TECH GUY HEATING & COOLING. June 2025 air…read moreisn't working. Called the Tech Guy to repair. 6 weeks and 7 service calls later still no A/C. several parts were replaced, unit is supposed to be under warranty but hundreds $$ was billed for service. Parts were put on that were not necessary and labor charges was billed for said parts. After their multiple failed attempts, they then blamed it on the house and said to call an energy expert. That was clincher. Amana Warranty would not talk to us, only to a repair tech and they refused to call. Multiple attempts were made to talk to owner without success. We got a 2nd opinion and they advised to install entirely new system. AMANA warranty will not cover. Decision was made to proceed, during removal of the previous system, the crew discovered the unit installed less than 2 years ago was improperly installed. Because of that there was black mold on floor and wall behind and under the unit. Had this gone undetected any longer, serious health issues could have resulted as well as serious damage to home. There was a multitude of things done wrong on this system. I feel bad that my son was victim to this. I'm also very thankful to the other company and their crew for uncovering it before it turned into major catastrophe and someone suffered mold poisoning.
