I felt remarkably better two weeks after my session for anxiety that had hit me hard, which is unusual for me. She got me in for a session very quickly, knowing I was uncomfortable in the anxiety. She explained that sometimes people feel better right away, and other times the sub conscious may take a bit longer. I will be back!

After trying many therapists, I must say that my experience with Lindi was exceptional.. Hypnotherapy is nothing more than coming into a complete state of relaxation in which the therapist uses her voice, in this case Lindi, to bring you to that state. And then the mind becomes a sponge and absorbs what is being spoken. As a massage therapist massages the body to remove tension, Lindi uses her voice to massage the mind to remove blocks and you leave the session in a relaxed state that remains with you throughout your week.

I just had major surgery to have stage 4 endometriosis removed from multiple organs. I even had my appendix removed during the extensive abdominal surgery. She seemed uninterested in my post-operative report. My insurance company dropped me two days before the surgery and she yelled at me to stop crying and told me to get insurance. I did, & then her office was very rude to me over the phone & they didn't even call to confirm my appointment beforehand. I have over 20 years of medical trauma from being misdiagnosed with depression and anxiety when in reality I have had one of the most painful conditions. Dr. Weisbein's demeanor completely changed when her next patient (an older male) walked in and she quickly changed her tone and said, "hello my love!" to him. Bottom line- ladies!!! Don't go to this woman. She's mean. *I almost forgot to mention, when I told her I was in a car accident, she said it was against her policy to talk about more than one injury at a time. *Go to Dr. Eric Grigsby or Dr Melanie Johansson if you need real help and you are a woman. They are experienced and non-biased unlike Jaqueline. *Thank you for your apology for your aggression & I hope you do better for future patients. I am finding better/more experienced/better equipped doctors for my needs.

I was so impressed she took the time to study my situation before we even met. I had originally met her at the Pain Institute and I followed her to her new office at California Pain Specialists.. what an upgrade! The office is immaculately clean, the staff is attentive and professional. I had not seen her for a few months but she immediately remembered my history and relayed it to her staff. It took over 20 years to get a diagnosis so I have my fair share of medical trauma, dealing with one of the most painful diseases. It has been so refreshing to finally be able to put trust into my healthcare team. Dr. Melanie Johansson is truly a gem of a Doctor, I'm grateful to be reunited with her.

I had a major injury to my upper arm which I first went to the ER thinking I had a broken bone... I…read morewas in excruciating pain, and could not move my arm at all. (The pain was a 10 out of 10 for hours straight which is why I went to the ER). The performed an X-ray as well as physically examined my arm and said there was no break, but most likely a major tear. They sent me home with pain meds, and a muscle relaxer, and told me to see a specialist ASAP. I tried to schedule an appt. with an orthopedic surgeon, but the earliest appt. was more than a week out. Two days later I went to one of the highest regarded acupuncturists here in Napa. Upon examining my arm he said he would not be able to help me heal at all, but possibly could help reduce the pain, and urged me to see the orthopedic doctor as soon as I could. I told him I had the appt. already, and would gladly let him treat me for the pain. I walked in with pain being still 10/10... by the end of his treatment and for the next few days I was still in 24/7 pain, unfortunately his treatment did not reduce my pain at all. 5 days later the pain was still barely bearably, I decided to see Dr. Henderson at Optimal Health. Me and my children had visited him several times through the years, and I was always happy with his services and the results. He did an exam and then recommended acupuncture in conjunction with a treatment called FSM. In 1 treatment my pain went from a 10, down to a 2. I did not take any pain meds the rest of the day, as the pain went to a 0-2 throughout the day. I was completely surprised how much relief I got from only 1 treatment. Also he felt that the FSM treatment may help the torn muscles heal, which was music to my ears. By the time I saw the Ortho doc, I was only takin pain meds to sleep. He diagnosed my injury a most likely a "major rotator cuff tear", and ordered an MRI. While waiting for the MRI, I continued to see Dr. Henderson. I have had a total of 5 treatment from Dr. Henderson, and currently am taking no pain meds, even to sleep, also I have also regained about 35% movement of my arm. I cannot express enough how happy I am with the results, at first it seemed like surgery was mandatory, but based on how well I am healing, I think I may be able to avoid it all together. I cannot recommend Dr. Henderson and Optimal Health enough!!!!
