Dr. Angie prescribed medication for my father without arranging a follow-up appointment to assess its effectiveness, and the same was true for my mother. The medications prescribed by Dr. Angie resulted in severe side effects for both of them. Additionally, I have had to change doctors three times without any notification since Dr. Angie's departure. Consequently, I was required to schedule three wellness check-ups within a span of three months to obtain my prescriptions. It is unacceptable for patients to endure the consequences of the inadequacies in your facility's operations.

When arrived home, there was a note from the doctor....not to schedule procedures, but he wanted a review about the office visit....a 10 minute visit! What was I going to say? He was on time? His tie was straight? His breath was not bad? He was one year in from med school...I guess he wanted a participation trophy and a good old slap on the back for showing up! Problems persisted on and off for the next two years....that doctor's only advice /remarks...."eat more fiber"! Tried to schedule with another doctor recently....they won't do it! Once you see one doctor, you are stuck! I did not pick the first doctor, he was assigned! Think twice before picking out this place!

I had been a patient there for 6 years and had many procedures by Dr Pai. I have a lot of medical issues, including autoimmune disease and my throat closes up/gets a lot of scar tissue, so sometimes I don't have a lot of notice before I need to be seen. When you become a patient of the "practice", at least when I was, they make you sign a paper that says you'll never see another gastroenterologist. Of course, if you are a patient for years, you don't remember this being something you signed, when you became a patient and I don't know anyone who develops cancer, that wouldn't get a second opinion, but because I got a second opinion, they booted me from the practice. I never even received a letter, until after I called twice and after requesting to speak to Dr Pai or to leave a message for his nurse. Their office policies are very bad, and I don't know any doctors office that is scared of another doctor seeing their patient. Please, don't waste your time by seeing someone here. You'll be a patient and comfortable and then they'll spring something on you and abandon you as a patient and you won't be happy. Interesting enough, this practice used to have a 2.9 rating and now on Google and yelp, they are a 5.0.......don't believe their "perfect" rating. Their office, managers/desk staff/insurance people etc, will make you hate this practice.

They don't let you know the doctor is running behind when you check in. My elderly mom had to prepare for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. The prep was so rough on her she passed out and hit her head. Had to have the ambulance take her to the hospital and sew her head up. Then when we arrived at the hospital for the procedure they told us it had been canceled!!! WTH!!! Thanks to a charge nurse in the hospital she called and made the doctor come in and do the procedure before he left to go out of town on vacay. I hope nobody else has to go thru this with this office!

Called the office as soon as I could and they took all my information and details of the events. The nurse would call back with an appointment that afternoon. 32 hours later (the next day at 4pm) the nurse calls with many questions about what is going on then asks to put me on hold so she can read my records. The result was "I will talk to the Dr to decide next steps" and no appointment as requested and no resolution and we are heading towards 48 hours since my request.

Appointments cancelled without explanation, rescheduling cancelled appointments are subject to a new minimum 60 day wait. When I requested a phone call from their on-call provider I waited five hours and got an arrogant rude lecture on the proper use of on-call services. Never asked my name, not one question about symptoms or medical history. There are much better options for gastro care than this very unhappy group. I would never recommend this medical group to anyone. I use other specialists within Eagle and have nothing but good things to say about them, the GI group is an exception to the usually excellent care I've received.
