WOW. So my gastroenterologist at Eagle is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Sadly I had the worst experience trying to get an appointment. Over the weekend nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Called the office as soon as I could and they took all my information and details of the events. The nurse would call back with an appointment that afternoon. 32 hours later (the next day at 4pm) the nurse calls with many questions about what is going on then asks to put me on hold so she can read my records. The result was "I will talk to the Dr to decide next steps" and no appointment as requested and no resolution and we are heading towards 48 hours since my request. read more

The worst medical experience ever experienced in Greensboro. Seems like they have a 60 day waiting list, even for existing patients with recent hospital treatment for new symptoms. Appointments cancelled without explanation, rescheduling cancelled appointments are subject to a new minimum 60 day wait. When I requested a phone call from their on-call provider I waited five hours and got an arrogant rude lecture on the proper use of on-call services. Never asked my name, not one question about symptoms or medical history. There are much better options for gastro care than this very unhappy group. I would never recommend this medical group to anyone. I use other specialists within Eagle and have nothing but good things to say about them, the GI group is an exception to the usually excellent care I've received. read more

Eagle gastroenterology on Google won't allow me to write a review. I did notice a lot of bad reviews. I used this office for years and back then they were great. I switched providers for a while then got a referral to come back to eagle. Ever since it has been a horrible experience. I have never seen such unprofessionalism within a health care facility. From the front desk to the doctors. I can't begin to tell all the bad stories, it would be too long to read. From rudness, not able to get results from tests, unable to get return phone calls after calling repeatedly and waiting. Having my pain taken lightly and seem unimportant, even having the doctor not paying enough attention to and disregarding my symptoms. I'm 52 years old and I've seen plenty of doctors in my life but never have felt so intentionally undermined. read more

I cannot recommend Dr. Brahmbhatt enough. I have no doubt in my mind that this man is one of the best doctors I have encountered. I was sick for 4 years and a doctor at another office kept telling me to change my diet and lower my stress. As it turns out my gallbladder was dying and needed to be removed. Dr. Brahmbhatt took the time to ask questions and examine me. I have no doubt he changed my life and may have saved it. I swear by this doctor. read more

Cirrhosis, Hepatic Encephalopathy, Hepatitis, Esophageal Varices, Acites and Diahrea. All things they'll kick you out the door with. THEY made a scheduling error and now they refuse to see me. Because of their neglegence. The staff is horrid. They hate their job and it's your fault. I have this all documented. They can't deny it. But they ignore it. And they're a monopoly in Greensboro. I now have to travel to UNC for real healthcare. Eagle Gastroenterology can suck it. read more

Dr. Edwards has a friendly bedside manner yet treats his patients with respect and is very thorough. I was pleased that he held a discussion WITH me, not AT me as I asked questions about my symptoms and diagnosis. A fine doctor and friendly office staff! read more

Great experience with Doctor B, I felt he listened to me and was very friendly... him and staff where incredible, always kept me informed about the procedures and dates... the only bad thing is that even though they did: Colonoscopy, Endoscopy and CAT-SCAN (all within 2 months) I'm back to square one with the same pain in my intestine, so I don't know what's going on..... all those exams and hundreds of dollars later and to still have the same pain.... that's my only complaint.... read more

I've been seeing Dr. Buccini for nearly ten years now and he is hands down the nicest and most caring doctor I've ever seen in my life. He always remembers me and takes as much time as we both need together. Today he even walked me to another office in the building to meet a nurse that would be helping me on my next visit. They mailed the paperwork I needed to fill out as soon as I made my appointment and I didn't have to sit in the waiting room filling anything when I got there for my appointment. Dr. Outlaw is my doctor and he is great. He's very professional, but kind and caring, too. I needed a colonoscopy and they were so professional and compassionate at Eagle's Endoscopy Center. The only complaint I have is that it took longer than I expected to get the report regarding a polyp that was removed. I also asked if I could have a written copy of that report for my records, but have not received it. read more

I was told that I could not set up an appointment without a referral. I asked for the office manager because that made no sense. I spoke to the office manager, Lisa, and told her that I was given a referral to another office but wanted to be seen sooner. She asked if I had seen a GI before and I told her once and noted the issue I was seen for. She took my name and info and transferred me back to scheduling and said I can go ahead and make my appointment. The rep then said she could not set up my appointment without my records because they did not know that I had seen a GI before and the records needed to be reviewed. I told her I had just told Lisa I had seen one. She said Lisa was the one that told her I couldn't make the appointment because it was their policy. I asked to speak with Lisa and Kristen said she was the supervisor and that was their policy. I asked for Lisa again and was told she was away from her desk. I asked for a callback. When Lisa called back, I told her their process and the back and forth was frustrating. She started cutting me off and I told me that it was bullshit to be told one thing and then transferred and be told another and she hung up the phone. I called back and she admitted that I did tell her that I had seen a GI and she apologized for telling me I could set up an appointment but that it is their policy. She then said I couldn't be seen there because I said bullshit and that I had cursed at her. I told her me saying bullshit is cursing out of frustration and not cursing AT HER and I also let her know that I no longer wanted to be seen there anyway! I told her she is upset because I said bullshit but can't look at it from the patient's perspective from speaking to 3 different people and being told 3 different things. Why transfer me make an appointment after I told you I had seen a GI only to tell the scheduling rep to don't schedule the appointment until you get the records from the GI because you didn't know I had seen one? You should've told me that in the beginning. It is bullshit! Furthermore, the appointment was being set on a Friday for a MONTH IN ADVANCE and I told them the information would be sent by mid-week the following week. I just set up an appointment with a different office for a day later and didn't have to jump through hoops and deal with all this bullshit! read more

I have been going to Eagle for over 30 years. I am very pleased with the care given over the years. I had somewhat of an emergency earlier this month and visited the office w/o an appointment. I was unable to see my regular doctor but had an alternative doctor visit within 30 minutes. All with the visit went well. My only concern was the prescription given. It was for a branded drug and when I picked up the drug at the pharmacy I was informed the copay due would be $345.00. After one hour speaking to insurance people I discovered a 100% generic equal existed that required a ZERO copay. It would have been helpful if the doctor would have advised me of this alternative. It would have saved time and money on the front end of the transaction. What's sad is the 90 year old senior that went through this same issue would have probably paid the $345.00 either because he/she was too old and maybe they might had to go w/o food for a month to pay for this drug. Let's all hope this wouldn't be the case. read more
