Jamie was referred to me by a previous client of Facebook, so I decided to contact him and give him a try. I had just moved to a new condominium, and the quality of the paint job, and beautiful look of the walls is incredibly important to me. As soon as I experienced my consultation, I knew I was in good hands. Jamie never rushed me, or seemed at all irritated or uninterested in all of my requests that were quite detailed. The other thing that impressed me was that the job itself was never rushed, but unbelievable attention was paid to getting the job done exactly as I had described it and imagined it. If I pointed out something that needed extra time, it was immediately taken care of, and Jamie also allowed me to inspect everything to make sure of my satisfaction and delight! Jamie even came back after the movers had finished moving me in to correct damage to the walls and baseboards, leaving me with a truly magnificent job. He did this under Justin's supervision and when it all went to hell (the job is still half done) Justin walked away with all the remaining money, provided no receipts, and ceased to communicate. Justin let a crook ruin my building (while he was collecting 15% on top of the subcontractor's wage) and then after letting things go terribly wrong he was not not man, or businessman, enough to make things right. I wouldn't trust him to paint a doghouse and if I did I would NOT give him money up front.

D& J Painting did a Great job painting trim and staining the cedar shake shingles on my two 2-story…read morecabins. These buildings are over 100 years old, and the rough shingles were very thirsty. The team members took the time necessary to use brushes to carefully work the stain into the rough wood surfaces and into the cracks between each shingle. They were diligent in doing a excellent job. Each member of the team was professional, courteous, and hard working. They left the job site clean and neat each evening, and the finished product looks great. I highly recommend D&J painting. As most of you know my parents are retired and are in the process of placing their house on the market so they can move south to Tennessee. Things need to be done in order for the house to be placed in its best condition to ensure my parents get the best bang for their buck when it comes to the property. For the most part they have done things on their own, painting rooms, replacing floors, etc. However, given my father's age he reached out for help to deal with the siding of the roof and soffit's. This is where it gets ugly. My parents hired Top Notch Contracting to come take care of this job. Dad had some appointments out of town, so the work was left for them to handle with nobody on site. Today these guys showed up (unannounced) didn't check in with my parents to say they were on site and just started to unload their equipment. My dad went out to discuss the issues he had with the various mistakes that this "contractor" has performed. Upon the discussion Sean was IMMEDIATELY dismissive. He told my father that the work was sound, made excuses for the mess that was left behind, and tried to brush aside the various damages that had occurred from the job. When my parents attempted to bring the issues, they had with the work to Sean's attention he responded with "It doesn't matter what I did you would've bitched about it anyway". At this point I advised my father to just leave the conversation and send this "Contractor" on his way. At that point the employee Sean told me to shut up and "not talk to his boss". I informed him that he was on my parent's property and I was allowed to speak candidly. This person then stepped onto the road and said "I'm not on the property anymore come say that to my face!" Never, in my life, have I been treated so aggressively and disrespectfully by a business. I expect that kind of behavior from the teenagers at the Ice Arena but I was taken aback to have that happen in my parents front lawn from a contractor. At the end of the day I am writing this to warn everyone that: A. This company will not stand by their work and will be combative if you confront them about your dissatisfaction. B. The owner of the company allows his employees to belittle and verbally assault his customers without consequence.

I intended to just paint one room but after seeing the quality work I've decided to extended the job and got my living room , dinning room and entrance done . They explained in detailed the steps. One of my main concerns was dust from the wall patching to my surprise the pick up job was absolutely remarkable. There was no paint on my floors or carpet and very minimal to no dust ...
