They did a great job of the work, which included building/replacing two walkways on the sides of our house. With fear in mind we called B &B Home Improvements and Botar (the Owner) answered the phone and said he would come the following the day to give us a Free estimate and if we liked his price and we liked him he would go ahead with the work. He came by this morning and gave us some great advice for the trim we had bought for him to install. He suggested that we go a little bigger because it would look a lot better once everything including the carpet was put in. He measured everything out in a matter of minutes and gave us a great estimate. We were still hesitant but had a good vibe from Botar and really appreciated his professional opinion. After all, he was not making any money on the materials. So we took him up on his estimate, he said he would get the work done by 8PM the same day! He also took my boyfriend to pick up the bigger pieces of material since we did not have a truck and had rented one the day before to transport the materials. Normally any contractor would charge you extra for this but he did not. He had another worker show up (Aidee) and he was such a nice person and he got right to work while they ran to Home Depot to pick new materials up. Before we knew it the work was all done at approximately 3:00PM including his clean up work and vacuuming. The trim work looks so great that we KNOW we will be calling Botar and his crew back to do much more work on our first home. Good to know there is still quality, honest and hard working contractors out there. I would recommend B&B to any family and friends and to any of you! Their prices are unbeatable too!

Baatar provided so much valuable feedback along the way and some of his suggestions I am still so grateful for to this day, such as cabinet suggestions, flooring details, location for outlets and light fixtures, materials to use and not use, etc. etc.  We came to rely on his expertise and it served us well.  Baatar and his team focus on one project at a time and they do not subcontract, this was important to us.  I highly recommend B&B Quality Home Improvement!

I was hesitant at first about working with new contractors since I've been burned in the past but Gabriel was the best so far and restored my faith! My bf reached out to Gabriel after finding him on Craigslist. He was prompt and came out 15 minutes later on a Friday to deliver on a quote for the huge landscaping work we needed done. He spent about an hour with us in talking about the landscaping work to be done. He never tried to tack on extra work and was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about the native trees & shrubs in our yard. His quote was very reasonable and he started work that Monday at 7 am. The job was re-grading, removing concrete and gravel, hauling dirt, replanting the empty space, etc. lots of work to do. His equipment was here bright and early as promised and he finished work the next day on Tuesday. Unbelievable how fast they were. His team was extremely professional and hardworking - everything was done to perfectionist standards. In his signature way it seems from other reviews, he went and beyond and placed extra dirt in our garden beds and seeded those areas too. Plus, when we inquired about extra dirt, he even came back that afternoon and spread out more in our veggie garden. We highly recommend Gabriel, highly highly. He's a prized landscaper in our area and does a huge range of work & does it well! We found out he's been a resident of northern VA for over 30 years. Very hardworking, honest, professional, knowledgeable. Thanks so much!

They climbed both trees and removed them limb by limb so that there was zero damage to our house. They then chopped up some of the trunk for us as firewood and cleared/hauled the limbs, all at a much more reasonable price than other landscaping companies. Gabriel's team was professional and courteous the entire time. Highly recommend!

I am so impressed with Adkins. I attempted to get referrals from friends before going to Yelp…read more Several landscapers never showed up for scheduled appt or took weeks to get back to me. Another couple told me my job was too small or some wanted north of $5k. I needed a French drainage system redone in a small, townhouse back yard on a steep hill, which meant I needed someone who understood grading and physics and did more than plant flowers. My "lawn" was also nearly all wild strawberries, weeds, and irises, in addition to being a lake when it rained. I had a suffering azalea and quite the root system under my weeds. Adkins not only quickly responded to my yelp inquiry, but they showed up when scheduled to review the project, stuck to their bid, and the price was reasonable. Tim, Michael and George were all professional, on-time, and responsive. Michael managed the team day off. All of the crew members were polite, respectful, and worked quickly. They hand-dug out the weeds and the sad bush, and created new beds for me to plant. Tim went above and beyond. after I went to plant some roses and found an undiscovered broken pipe. He came back to look at it and helped me plant my remaining flowers- once we ensured it wasn't going to flood the lawn or drainage system they'd installed. ( it actually wasn't connected to anything at all!). After their superior work, I signed up for their maintenance program. My yard has turned into a nice oasis that I can relax and enjoy!

I've hired Adkins to keep up with the maintenance regularly, and it's alleviated a lot of anxiety. I also thought they're competitively priced after checking with other landscapers in the area. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of five is because they're not always the most communicative over email which has left me with a couple of surprise visits, but they are easily reached by phone!
