They have many patients and if you wait till time to schedule a appointment it may take a little while because they book up fast so I always go ahead and schedule appointments when we are there or call a couple weeks ahead of time to assure she is seen in the time frame needed. I have waited to long before and it took a while to get in however that is not the fault of them. We have had times when the phone rang long periods however I always reached a voicemail directory when this happened and was called back fast if urgent and no longer than a day on non urgent. Always confirm your appointment with them and keep your phone numbers updated or you will miss your time slot but that is a responsibility of yourself to be on top of. I have no complaints for any of this because they do a great job with my child as well as how they are with any other child I've seen in their office and they are busy. I've always had staff at front desk ready to situate us with signing in on the internet based pads. My daughter absolutely loves going to the dentist which means a lot to me because as a child I had terrible experience. Knowing she always looks forward to going makes me feel so good. Even knowing she has an upcoming oral surgery to extract a baby tooth that has become twisted from permanent teeth coming in and it just not coming out, she is looking forward to going. I am so appreciative of the way they are on top of taking care of her overall oral health. I can't think of any other place I would want her to go.

The decor in the office is also pretty fantastic. Total beach vacation vibes and who isn't relaxed during a beach vacation! TVs everywhere so the kids can watch Disney movies during the visit. A lot of thought and care went into planning the overall look that's for sure! Without a doubt I will tell everyone I know with kids to go see them. A few minutes later they called back and said we were able to walk inside the office. As we walked in, we were greeted, our temperatures were taken and we were escorted to a room. The hygienist was amazing with my son and kept him engaged in the process the entire time. She explained every step to him and allowed him to touch the tools so he wouldn't be afraid. The Dentist later arrived and had the same amazing demeanor. So happy we chose to come here. He can't wait for his next visit.

I just want to share my experience with Kids Dentistree in Richmond Hill, because I'm livid…read more - My son had his first ever dentist appointment in March. (Hes 3. I didn't know to take him sooner. We brushed his teeth and he never had any complaints) The dentist found cavities. She said they were very deep and she wanted to do two baby root canals and caps on his top molars and 2 fillings on his bottom molars. She said he would need to be sedated for almost an hour in office. I was told if I opted for laughing gas, and he wasn't doing well they would bring in more staff to hold him down because they would finish the procedure once they started. My total bill would be $1200 as the sedation isn't covered. I called a second pediatric dentist for a second opinion She said that even though they didn't have xrays she was certain he didn't need any root canals and she only wanted to cap one tooth and she could fill the other 3 teeth. (She explained that these cavities were from under developed teeth and likely a genetics issue.) She also recommended a liquid Valium and laughing gas, but if he wasn't responding well we could reassess and choice a different option... he wouldn't be forced to continue. We just completed the work with them today and my bill was less than $450.

I called requesting if they did a particular procedure on kids and was told that they did so i made an appointment. We showed up 15 minutes early, like you're supposed to. We then proceeded to wait just short of 2 hours to be seen. We were then quickly told that they in fact didn't perform the procedure they had said over the phone they did. End result we ended up with a bill and lost 2 hours of our life. While this may have been a misunderstanding it sure felt like a quick and easy way to bill us without any intent to treat. That may not be the case but either way waiting 2 hours to be seen is also extremely poor service.
