Bobby Howarth is pleasant to work with a surgeon . He is working for Common Spirit. I will have a knee replacement in a few weeks.

I waited maybe about 5 minutes before being called to the back for my appointment. Was very nice and polite. She asked all the questions and put everything into my chart. She said Dr. Howarth would be in shortly. I waited about 10/15mins. Dr. Howarth finally came in. He was just as nice as always. We talked about how I was feeling fatigued, the pain in the groin area and the muscle spasms I have at night. We also discussed the physical therapy and how that was going. Let me know to get me some magnesium to help with what I got going on. I'm satisfied with the surgery and everything that has happened so far. So no complaints on my part. I do recommend him to family and friends. I got a chance to see Taneisha on my way out. She's one of the bestest. She made sure durning this process I got to get everything that was needed to help with recovery and healing... All I Can say is his staff "ROCKS"!!! Keep up the good work ladies:-)

Dr. Doner and his Dawson are incredible and helped me get where I need to be. 10 stars. They have everything here: professionals, compassion, empathy, experience.

Now looking at shoulder surgery with him. Matt his PA and Katie is MA are very caring. From many of the other reviews I have read from my own experience when I leave a message they usually tell you to give them 24 hours. I have always received great care at Colorado Center of Orthopedic Excellence.

I have two insurance policies (Blue and Medicare), and I was charged $524 for a 5-minute injection of Cortisone. Stunned by so high a bill for so easy a service (Cortisone is that expensive?), but the lack of service, the lack of telling me what the price of care would be, and taking two insurance cards but only using one just seems like a ripoff. All they could tell me is why I really need surgery, and all they did is hustle me for more money when all I needed in 5 years was a simple cortisone shot in my finger. These folks have all this Olympic stuff all over their waiting rooms (I had plenty of time to look at all of them in the half hour I waited, even coming early), and it looks like they are trying to infer that they provide coverage to Olympic Teams, so they are going to take care of you, too. DO NOT BELEIVE THEM! I would rather get a hot overdose in an alley downtown than to deal with this people--taking advantage of a 70-year-old patient. their help line was totally worthless, and they hung up on me. The worst medical treatment I have received in my short life. You would be best to avoid them. Captain Ahab in Moby Dick had better orthopedic care. --RBauer, Colorado Springs

I was told after my last session that I could make another appointment if I wanted to. It was very dismissive and then I got a bill for multiple things that never even happened. I think it was just a way to milk the insurance company. This also did nothing for my achilles issues that was causing daily pain and trouble walking. I found a deep tissue massage therapist that worked on glute muscles and hamstrings and calves. This worked. Orthopedic Rehabilitation Associates charged $180 for a ten minute foot rub (manual therapy) and $114 for neuromuscular re-education (which never happened unless it was the calf raises?). This is dishonest billing practices. I'm sure physical therapy is great for some situations, but they should be upfront with you if they think you need another option.
