I get that I do things a little different and out of the norm for one with severe psoriasis but what I do works...but you did not want to listen to me. All you wanted to do was to talk about me to your med student and when you did talk to me you told me all I was doing was wrong and you never heard when I told you why. You did not care why. You did not want to understand me...all you cared about was you being right. Oh, and when one is having an annual appointment and the med student is a male (or opposite sex) you are suppose to ask if it's ok. I would not have minded and would have said yes...but now knowing you only use your patients as a tool to teach I would have said no. You could care less when I tell you I cannot do my own nail care and that while you think nail salons are the devil spawn, you would not listen when I tried to tell you that the amazing person I go to is WHY and HOW I can walk and work full time. You could care less and actually scolded me, that we would just not agree on my care and when I tried to explain that I cannot use Dove because it breaks me out you scolded me again and then you and your nurse and your med student just walked out of the room. It would have been nice if you could humble yourself to say that while you do not agree you see that I am doing well and have managed my condition pretty good for the last 48 years. You could not even do that. You could not even acknowledge that for someone with my health issues I am doing pretty good and have managed my severe psoriasis pretty well, but that would take you knowing me and my history which you clearly do not and did not care to learn. I have never left a Dr office in tears. You did not even tell me I could get dressed and your nurse did not even give me instructions on how to leave, you just simply WALKED OUT!! HOW DARE YOU TREAT SOMEONE LIKE THIS!!!! I will not be returning to this horrible place. The PA I saw last year was nice and while she too disagreed with what works for me she took the time to understand that I was doing well and did not need to be seen for 12 months but you want me back in 6-9 months...why when you obviously think I am an idiot and do not know how to care for my own body and you won't listen when I tell you what you want me to do breaks me out. When I was able to get my MRI, Dr. Anderson contacted me and told me that there was nothing to operate on because it was just edema. I was flabbergasted. How can someone have edema in the same location for over 10 years, that does not go away with rest and only continue to grow. Dr Anderson just didn't want to do the surgery, but he did informed me that it would be considered an cosmetic surgery that my insurance wouldn't cover, so I would have to pay out pocket. My own provider doesn't believe it to be edema. I was distraught because 2024 was a painful year and this improvement for.my well being was something that kept me moving forward. I hung up on Dr. Anderson then later spoke with Jamie office manager and requested my refund and was told she would have to check with billing. Jamie did I check with billing when I paid to have the procedure??It's been almost 2 weeks and I haven't received my refund. I talked with Jamie again today and was told that it was passed on to administrators and because I hung up twice on them they were thinking about discharging me as a patient. What service did I received other than conversation. Now it looks like I will have to take legal action just so I can receive my own money back. Dr. Anderson came highly recommended from another highly respected general surgeon. It took two procedures due to a significant amount of internal scaring. I love Dr Anderson's unique personality. There was one visit that was not so good for me emotionally following the first procedure. He did not miss a beat, handed me a tissue and reassured me that everything was on track to the best we could expect with my allergies and the amount of scaring. THANK YOU!
