I am currently back in town for several months, and she has graciously taken me back as a patient. She is the most knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive Dr. I have ever met, often responding to emails long after-hours. Most importantly, Dr. Cabodi listens to her patients and always suggests the simplest, least invasive, and most natural treatment she can first, rather than immediately pulling out the prescription pad. Her support staff is equally excellent. Dr. Cabodi is the absolute best, and I can't recommend her enough.

I was 9 minutes late to an X-ray they told me I MUST have before the appointment (same building). When I took the Elevator upstairs they refused to see me because I was 9 minutes late. It took me 5 weeks to get this appointment. They were telling me it was going to be at least another two (mid March) and to come back. The doctor I was scheduled to see even came out of her office (eating) to tell me she couldn't see me because she was seeing other patients. Oh really? It was still my appointment time when she told me this. Liar! I left asking for a supervisors number. I am no longer interested in the Podiatrists at Polyclinic... please do your research!

I see a provider here by the name of Lauren Webb. We first met in December of 2025, when she seemed…read moreto be able to tolerate me pretty well. I thought we had enough chemistry to develop a personable client-patient rapport, but the two follow-ups I've had with her have been snotty. My second appointment with her was very weird. I had my car vandalized by a homophobic coworker, and I had developed awful panic attacks because of it. I described my coworker to her as a radical Afghan Muslim who has used his religion and "culture" as excuses for why he committed a hate crime against me, and Lauren just got weird after that. She wouldn't look at me, she was shaky, jittery, choked up, and she rushed out of the room at the speed of light after prescribing me a bottle of 5 benzodiazepine pills. It was kind of like she was saying, "Here's some pills. Peace out." I'm not going to tell the story like, "A guy slashed my tire." Anyone with a brain would want to know more about a situation like that. Who? Why? C'mon now. Having lived here for about a decade, I knew I must have stricken a political chord of some sort, given everything on social media lately, so I searched her Facebook and saw tons of Planned Parenthood stuff, and then I realized she was a rather politically charged individual. So am I, but I'm not going to omit clarifying and revealing information about a situation or violator just to cater to the political affiliation of a medical provider. My coworker violated me for the reasons I've already mentioned, and so that's kind of a... period, end of story type of situation. I liked Lauren a lot after the first time I met her, and I saw myself with her in the exam room as the safest possible setting for me to find a solution to my panic attacks, so I was really letdown when her attitude went from supportive to transactional so quickly. My last visit with her was catty and faintly impatient. So, the medical assistant asked me what the appointment was for, and I told her it was for a propranolol adjustment, but I also wanted to discuss one other thing with Lauren since it's kind of embarrassing. When Lauren came into the room at 1:45, she said, "So, I thought you were here for leg pain but the medical assistant said you're here for a medication refill, so I'm confused... what do you want to talk about today?" But her tone was straight up trash, so I said, "Well, I just want more propranolol," and then she wrote some referrals and hauled as*s at 1:57. It was a 30-minute appointment that lasted for 12 minutes, and I think it was closer to 10 minutes. By all means, use the remaining duration of my allotted appointment time to catch up on charting, but don't be so obviously intolerant of your patient who needs you. Passive aggressively speaking, she ain't trying to be my provider, and that's cool, but now I have to start all over again, hoping I don't get another woke liberal with no wiggle room. My coworker destroyed my life. I don't understand who else I was supposed to discuss that with, as it affected my mental and physical health to the point where I had to go on benzos and beta blockers. Healthcare in 2026 is very jaded, very dangerous, very disappointing, and quite frankly, I'm disgusted.

Highest recommendation. No caveats…read more I've been a patient of Greenlake Primary Care for 30+ years. Dr Krista Hodne is my current doctor. (Previously, Dr Busch and Dr Starkebaum.) I'm a cancer survivor, among other stuff. Nothing about my care is easy, straightforward. Some of my troubles have taken years to bring under control. Dr Hodne is the best partner, life coach, and caregiver anyone can ask for. She and her team have gone above and beyond for me, time and again. Two strategies are proven to improve patient outcomes. Constructive long-term relationships, obviously. Emphasizing wellness over treating disease. Knowing this, I enthusiastically supported Greenlake's switch to a concierge model. The concierge model is a rejection of our nation's immoral, inefficient, profiteering fee-for-service model. It's a return to our Rockwell-esque notions of the family doctor. It allows doctors to spend as much time as needed with a patient, to do research, to coordinate all the referrals, to do battle with insurers, etc. No one is getting rich in family practice. Or running an independent clinic. Do the math, read the news. The providers at Greenlake Primary Care are making huge sacrifices. Just to keep the lights on. Just to deliver actual healthcare. Yes, concierge requires memberships to make it work. Until our nation adopts Medicare For All, it's the best available option. I chose to be a member, despite living off credit cards (at the time), because I wanted to get better. I chose correctly. You can too.

Only much later did I really learn how important it was that she knew enough at the time to run the test for the specific type of diabetes that I had. In 26 plus years I have had so many needs for her expert care or referrals to other medical specialties. I also cannot say enough good things about the other caregivers that she has referred me to. I have certainly put Dr. Sheckter to the test of all of her knowledge with my laundry list of ailments, yet she passed all the tests. First, she listens well. Second, she always has the knowledge to make the correct answer. This might mean knowing when the specialist needs to be called in. Third, she clearly communicates what needs to happen next. I come from a family of medical professionals and have first hand knowledge of what excellent treatment looks like and this is it. The whole office experience is intimate, friendly, and just plain first rate. M.T.
