    Leak 9/22-10/22

    William Douglas Management company and our assigned community manager are the worst! Last year our common area incurred extra costs for water usage in excess of $1000+ b/c a water leak lasted for weeks.. and there was NO action/response taken by our community manager. Once she was finally forced to act, a homeowner finally got the water turned off. However she failed to 1) contact a plumber to get the issue repaired. 2) failed to contact re-wa to ask for an amendment to our billing b/c of the leak for weeks wasting tens of thousands of gallons of water.3) charged our HOA for late fees on this overage billing b/c they are now using a third party billing system and they FAIL to ever pay any of our vendors/ utilities on time!! As a homeowner I am outraged! I spent weeks trying to get that issue resolved last year ( 9/22-10/22) and countless hours.. emailed, called, went in person. Etc. Fast forward to this week 10/23/23... This same pipe is leaking again.. ( b/c it has not ever been repaired) has been for over a week so far. Other homeowners have taken charge to resolve it this time.. but so far to no avail, to include our HOA board members. How is the individual community manager still employed? How is this company ok with doing business this way? How are the homeowners responsible for the LATE fees the management company has incurred for FAILING to pay our bills on time b/c they chose to outsource? Unbelievable!! What the heck are we paying them for??! They are a joke!

    PMI is the Worst Property Management Company - Do NOT Trust Them with Your Home!…read more If you value your property and want it properly managed, stay as far away from PMI as possible. This company is an absolute nightmare to deal with, and their so-called "management" is nothing more than negligence and incompetence. After trusting PMI to rent out my home, I expected it to be returned in the same condition I left it. Instead, I walked into a complete disaster. The tenants they placed clearly had no regard for cleanliness or upkeep, and PMI did nothing to ensure my property was maintained. Here's what I found: * Trash left all over the place - it was clear no proper move-out inspection was done. There were bags of garbage, random debris, and leftover junk throughout the house and garage. * Walls with mismatched paint - instead of maintaining the original color, different shades were slapped on randomly, making the walls look patchy and unprofessional. Holes from TV mounts were left behind with no attempt to repair or even remove the brackets. * A disgusting garage floor covered in oil stains - no effort was made to clean or address this mess. Trash was also left in the garage, making it clear that no one bothered to inspect it before handing the property back to me. * A broken bedroom closet - the doors were completely off their tracks and unusable, something that should have been noticed and fixed before returning the property. * Damaged blinds - several were cracked, bent, or missing altogether, making the home look neglected and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, the tenant moved out on January 31st, and PMI only just returned the property in March--in horrible condition. That's over a month with no updates, no accountability, and no urgency to fix anything. When I brought these issues to PMI's attention, they were completely dismissive. Their customer service is atrocious--rude, unresponsive, and unwilling to take any responsibility. The owner, Victor, only cares about making money and taking over the property. Even before I officially left PMI, I had multiple conversations with him about my concerns, and he was completely careless and dismissive. I repeatedly told him that I wanted my property back, but instead of offering real solutions, he gave me excuses, ignored my concerns, and refused to take action. Weeks passed, and they still refused to do anything meaningful to resolve the damage. To the point that he doesn't answer text messages or calls! This company is a scam. They take your money, do the bare minimum (if anything), and leave you to deal with the mess once they're done. Their so-called "management" is nothing more than collecting a check while letting properties fall apart. If you're considering PMI for property management, RUN in the other direction. You'll save yourself stress, money, and the headache of dealing with their complete lack of professionalism. DO NOT trust them with your home!     I bought an Adams Home at Savannah Point in Simpsonville. The home is ok, the huge disappointment…read moreof my experience at Savannah Point is NOR-Con Property Management. The HOA! Not sure what the H stands for? But, there is absolutely NO representation from one single Homeowner/property owner at Savannah Point unless it would be one who complains. In two weeks time homeowners have be hit with a barrage of letters from NorCon asking for yard improvements, "lawns are not being cut on a regular basis", additional mulch needed, "fertilization needs are not being taken care of," "no repairs of ANY type" to cars on the property, "there are two fence styles chosen FOR the community," "the only weather sealant permitted is: Olympic Max Waterproofing Sealant" and "no further out buildings or storage buildings of any kind will be allowed." And for this tyranny WE PAY? A letter last week informed me that "the sales people and mail person" have complained about me parking on the street, which I don't do but my neighbors had a get together and they informed me. It's great to know that sales people and mail delivery personnel have more voice than Savannah Point's homeowners. At this time I am removing decorative rock because it did not meet the HOA approval. It was placed because no one can stop the weeds at the curb of the street. I guess its back to the weed strip between the sidewalk and curb like everybody else. Check into the property management/HOA of any home/condo you are considering. If it NorCon, RUN!!! They are a joke. They can turn the experience of ownership into a total nightmare. If there are any attorneys reading this, you might have a collective group willing to fight.
