I brought my 16 year old daughter to see Dr. Landers after a horrible and debilitating rash that 3…read moregeneral practitioners could not identify. After 10 days on prednisone, it began to clear up and when we finally got an appointment with Dr. Landers there wasn't much left (we had been told to keep the appointment anyway to establish care). The first words out of Dr. Landers' mouth to my daughter was that she needed to stop picking her skin. My daughter is a Type 1 Diabetic, and the "picking" the doctor was referring to are insulin pump sites that my daughter has NO CONTROL over. Then she asked my daughter what she "put in her mouth" before the rash - "gummies? Vaping? Sexual activity?" It was so highly offensive and completely inappropriate. She then told me that next time the rash flared up, we'd need to come back to the office for "expensive procedures that I'd want to pay for." That comment was gross and unwarranted and preyed on a parent's desire to do whatever it takes to help their child - even at the roadblock of a financial hardship. Dr. Landers lifted my daughter's shirt without consent to do so. My daughter left crying and said she felt shamed. We will NEVER return to this office.

Expected me to wait over 7 months. I wouldn't have them clip my toenails. Unbelievably unprofessional, unaccommodating and arrogant.

I came to Bridgeport laser and wellness for microneedling services with Natalia. This was my second…read moretime seeing her (first time was consult) and she is just a stunning professional and all around amazing human being. From the moment I met her she was warm and attentive to my needs. I had questions regarding whether I was a good candidate for the service as I was still breastfeeding and she took time to explain my options. I wasn't the right candidate then but she told me to come back after I weaned my son and to look out for deals. A deal came up right after I weaned my son and I was able to schedule an appt with her amazing staff. It was no surprise she remembered me from our consult (which was almost 7 months ago) and we picked up right where we left off. Natalia is so authentic you can't help but be yourself around her. She took the time to explain the procedure to me and even remembered my trouble areas (acne scars on cheek and forehead). She said she would be sure to focus on those areas (and totally did). The service went so well, she was with me every step of the way explaining what was going to happen next. I never once felt any pain or uncomfortable. After the treatment she explained post treatment care and I was done. I can't wait to see my results! I'm going to see her for milia removal, skin tag removal and laser hair-- HIGHLY RECOMMEND Natalia and the staff at BLW

I was billed by the outside lab that processed my biopsy weeks ago, yet I never received my pathology results. When I called the office to follow up, staff located my chart using only caller ID without verifying my name or date of birth, which raised privacy concerns. More concerning, I was told I would not receive my biopsy results until mid-March because the provider and medical assistant are on vacation. Waiting over two months for pathology results -- with no covering provider reviewing or releasing them -- feels inappropriate and outside normal medical practice. In addition to this, Dr. Pitt was condescending and inappropriate (talking about politics and religion in the visit)- he also didn't complete a full skin check which was the reason for my visit (I had to ask the him to specifically look at something on my chest - which he glanced at from the doorway as he was walking out and said "that's benign! Does it bother you?" I've been seeing a dermatologist once a year for years, and have never had such a terrible experience before. I will definitely not be back to this clinic. I'm sharing this feedback in hopes the office improves both patient communication and result-management protocols. Professionalism, thoroughness, and timely follow-up on biopsies is critical for patient safety and peace of mind.

I didn't have a great experience with this clinic. I saw Bridget Hartman. I needed a dermatologist…read moreand I thought that it would be a good experience. I was ok with treatment but sure ended with stating she wanted to do a mole biopsy . To me what this meant was taking a small piece of it to see whether it warranted removal or cancer. It seemed simple enough, she was done and put a band aid on it. I wanted to know if I could swim and she made it sound like it was nothing. I didn't realize until it started to really itch and had my boyfriend look at it that the hole mole was removed and left a big hole in my back. It has itched endlessly for two weeks and I'm upset. There was no discussion about removing the whole mole and why test for cancer then off it was just completely removed. I would have appreciated the communication. I wanted to be asked. So I put up with the endless constant itching for two weeks and went to the follow up appt which ended up being canceled but I didn't know it. I didn't know my voicemail wasn't working for I've gotten other messages. They could have sent an email or text, or put a message in MyChart. Instead I drove there and found out and it screwed up my morning. So my experience here makes me want to look for another dermatologist right away. Red flags to me. Update: This office didn't let me know that removing the mole was an additional add on charge. They didn't let me know that the amount would be because of my deductible. I'm so incredibly upset that this place didn't do their work to inform me of costs and what they were doing. Awful awful experience. Go elsewhere is my advice and ask questions.
