Specialties
I specialise in a relaxed and unobtrusive approach, blending the best of reportage and contemporary techniques to create genuine, joyful images of your wedding day. I have been a full-time professional wedding photographer since 2010 and lucky enough to experience photographing over 300 weddings since those early days. Based in Manchester, I cover the entirety of the UK and have photographed weddings as far afield as Ireland, Cuba and Australia.
I have earned a reputation for crafting a story through breath-taking images without intrusion that delight brides and grooms. Your wedding day is your day, so I step back and let it happen. It is only by allowing the celebration to unfold naturally that you can capture its essence. I am always more than happy to help and lend advice in any way I can, but never to control.
History
Established in 2010.
As a keen traveller I discovered my love for photography when I spent a year in South East Asia, the Pacific and South America and in my time away there was barely a moment when I didn't have a camera in my hand. I returned home in late 2008 to find the economy in tatters and after a year in the wilderness I decided turn my hobby into a profession and set out as a photographer, and wow, I am glad I did!
I love being a wedding photographer, it a fantastically challenging and entertaining way to earn a living. When I am lucky enough to be invited to spend a couple's wedding with them it never fails to strike me how much of a privilege it is to be part of the biggest day of their lives. To record so much happiness and joy is a real honour, one I try to keep earning every time I pick up my camera.

I live at Will Hey Farm (hence the name!) on the border of the Dark Peak with my beautiful wife Kirsty, our daughters Georgia and Eva and a host of goats, chickens and Jack Russell terriers
