As a single dad I wasn't sure about exactly what I should get them, if they looked good in it and the different options. I am surprised by the recent reviews saying the staff 'follow you around' they don't, they just want to help! I found the service I received absolutely fantastic and the prices very reasonable. Back before Pixie Geldoff made its leather jackets the cover up de rigeur I got a punky Religion top from here. The mix of styles in Mon Amie is exactly that; it isn't just one aesthetic. There is plenty of hippie style fashion here too as well as sensible clothes that your mother would love. The prices vary wildly but you can easily pick up a bargain. The linen dress in question was purchased in Phase Eight's boutique in King St, and I have enjoyed my visit. I thought that the floor was planned rather nicely, while the fitting rooms are located on the podium. No matter how popular this boutique is, with such space planning there is no chance customers can feel crowded. Phase Eight is by no means cheap, but it finds a good balance between price and quality. I would definitely buy clothes there, although I am not so sure about either footwear or accessories. Not that they are bad, but they don't have the kind of edge I am looking for.

However where Peacocks wins on the adult clothing I think for pure range available next door is better for chidlren and infants clothing. The store is well designed with a nice layout although they've taken the zoning approach dedicating clusters of space to each potential customer type (i.e womans, men's etc) and sometimes this actually works against the customer as sometimes you have trouble moving between the displays and even more so should you have a buggy with you) It's bright, well lit and tidy with nice window displays and a centrally located payment area. The staff are attentive, helpful and efficient.
