By a miracle Macy was able to get us back on the road the next morning and even picked me up from the hotel so I could come get my car since I didn't have any other means. Fantastic! Finally! A shop I can count on to do it right! Wilkinson's is by far the best shop I have been to in years. I have had some good experiences before, and wrote about them, then in the same shop, had bad ones and wrote nothing. But this shop has made all of the other shops pale in comparison. At other auto shops, I was told there were things I needed to get fixed on my little car, when there was nothing wrong. I did not have a bad wheel or need the brakes replaced. It may even be that there was some work I paid for, that was never done. I am so grateful to have found Wilkinson's. They use quality parts and honor their work at a fair price. What was amazing to me, at the very beginning, was I talked to the mechanic. I had told the owner what was going on and then Macy, an excellent mechanic himself, had the mechanic, Matt, that was going to actually do the work on my car, come talk to me! He has done most of the work on my little car. A full tune up. Distributer cap, Dist Rotor, IGN wire, Spark Plugs, Air and Fuel filter, PCV Valve and fixed the CV axle. Things that I did not know were wrong with the car? He found and just fixed it. I had an air intake that was taped up, badly, and leaking. My little car has been in 4 other shops and none of the mechanics even mentioned that it was a problem. Even my son had noticed that. This shop just fixed it and fixed it right. Matt, put a short piece of pipe inside and clamped it down right. Now the sensor is reporting accurately on how much air the engine is getting. He replaced missing caps on vacuum tubes. He replaced hoses that were too soft. He did not even need to replace the clutch cable. All it needed was some adjustments. She is running great! So much better than she ever has. They also cleaned the engine so they could check later to see if there really was an oil leak and where it was at. Matt replaced both the water pump and the air-conditioned belts, that were worn beyond belief, that nobody else caught. He replaced the expansion valve and the dryer, since someone put too much oil into the air-conditioning system. I am very happy to take my little car back to the shop next week, to get the repairs to the air conditioner completed. To top it all off, they got the tune up done and checked out the car before I had to make a long trip. Amazing! I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am to have found a shop that believes in Modern Methods of Management and yet values Old Fashioned ideas when it comes to Quality! I highly recommend this shop. We were traveling across country and had a problem with our truck dying unexpectedly. I called and talked with Aiden, who said bring it in and we'll run the diagnostics and see what we can find. There were no codes or red flags on the diagnostics, but he very quickly determined it was probably our fuel filters and had them replaced and me back on the road in less than an hour! I called from another state and a gentleman was so kind on the phone with me and told me he would drive to where they were and see what he could do. He did just what he said he would. We drive across country a few times a year and always stop In Holbrook, AZ. This time, however, we basically broke down in our vintage airstream MOHO. Wilkinson was recommended to us by AAA and Matt took such great care of us- fixed some hoses and tubes, replaced the fuel pump and filer, and got us back out on the road. And he was really great and lovely and fast... It seems there are a lot of service stations in this small town, but I HIGHLY recommend Wilkinson's. read more

My 2013 Honda Civic was towed to this business when we heard a bang and then smoke and oil coming out everywhere. The next morning when they opened they were able to replace the missing oil drain plug. Replaced the oil and checked everything. They even cleaned a bunch of the oil off the car. They were very helpful and got me back on the road quickly. The price was very reasonable. Hopefully the Honda dealership will be as helpful when I contact them. read more

Amazing place. I was driving cross country on Hwy 40. I stopped at the Painted Desert National Park NM. THe car wouldn't start. Had it towed to Holbrook. I looked at reviews for this place and decided to take it here. It is also known as Macy's by the people in Holbrook. The tow truck tried to talk me out of it. They said sometimes he is too busy. I took it here anyway. I had this car looked at by a mechanic before I left cross country. It started making a noise about 6 months ago. Well some pulley on the a/c broke as well as a bolt. I heard the noise but another mechanic could not diagnose it before I left on the trip. During the trip it started making worse noises. Then I have no idea why but the car wouldn't start at the Painted Desert Park. Enter Wilkinsons Graphics. The owner is an expert he looked at the car once and saw the problem and fixed it in about 15 minutes. I was on my way. Why the pulley and the bolt made the car stop running I don't know but I guess the pulley burned. Anyway you can trust these folks and they are good as well. Seems like they take any kind of car and they do more extensive type jobs as well. read more

My husband and are currently in a cross country roadtrip. We arrived in Holbrook AZ last night and our vehicle was acting strangly. The Motel owner from the lovely Globetrotter Lodge highly recommended Wilkinsons. Wow...our new favorite mechanic Von was amazing. He checked our car thoroughly on his computer. He took the time to explain everything, added transmission fluid and gave us his card in case of trouble along our travels. He was candid and I felt very comfortable with his recommendations. In the end, he sent us on our way and refused to take a dime for his analysis and help. We will remember Holbrook AZ for the great kindness its residents give.
