Future Tires in Holbrook saved us after a major pothole blew out our tire on I-40 eastbound near MP…read more303 on October 21, 2025, around 1:41 AM. We were stranded for hours in a dangerous spot with heavy semi traffic. Tragically, a motorist checking his own blown tire from maybe the same pothole, was fatally struck by a semi at the same location shortly after (around 2:30 AM) while checking his own tire. Black older SUV. All other details are very graphic. My heart goes out to his family! The team at Future Tires got us back on the road , after a long night, safely with a temporary tire when no one else could help. If anyone from the victims family is reading this and looking for witnesses or dashcam footage from that night, please feel free to reach out -- I have video of the pothole impact. There is good in this world, folks…read more I was traveling in my older van, having just got an oil change in Boulder at one of these quick oil change places, with the intention of preparing for my trip. Along the way, while putting 12 hrs on my van, I started having strange shifting, significantly decreased power going up hills, and other symptoms of transmission problems. I stopped and checked my tranny fluid level, and to my dismay it was WAY HIGH, and had bubbles in it. I had just checked it a few weeks before. It was fine then, in the lower region of the cross-hatches. This was very dismaying, this new development, especially while traveling. Future Tire had to pull 2 QUARTS out of my transmission to get it right. Folks, putting 12 hrs on a van with 2 QUARTS over transmission fluid, it is very likely my transmission is already damaged, and very likely that it would have broken down if not corrected. 2 QUARTS is a lot Most shops would have said "minimum one hour labor" and charged me $185. Recognizing the situation, Future Tire did me a solid. Ten minutes of their time, they corrected it, and didn't charge me a dime. I am glad Holbrook has these guys.

Franks saved me big time…read more Last weekend I was driving my old Camero across country to LA. It was a Sunday afternoon and I had to start a new job Monday morning. My car has always had issues but I thought a lot were fixed. My car suddenly starts overheating and I can't go anywhere, stuck in the middle of no where, hundreds of miles from anyone I know. I pull over to fix it myself, but no luck. By pure coincidence not only did I pull over near a few mechanic garages, but when I called Frank, he was the only mechanic at his garage on a Sunday, working on his personal car. He was nice enough to allow me to come to his garage and check out my car. Turns out my fan motor has finally burnt out at the most random and inconvenient moment. After a few back and forth trips to a nearby O'Reily's, who didn't have the right part for my car, Frank took a extra fan motor he personally owned and installed it himself. So not only did he take time on his day off to help me when he knew I was in an emergency, he took an old part he was saving for another car and installed it himself. I ended up making it to my job on time. I couldn't be more appreciative of what he did for me.
