There are multiple baseball fields on site and there appears to be a lot of parking that is paved. It didn't appear to have a problem with flooding even though the creek lies just beyond a wooded area to the south of the park. I did notice a playground for smaller kids near the entrance which cleverly uses the slope of the hill to add a long and winding slide. My only negative is that it is a long distance away from the ball diamonds which make it difficult for parents who wish to watch the game and keep an eye on their kids. I didn't see any playground for larger kids to use, though I may have missed it. (The parks website don't list features.) Another well kept park in Orange County. Easy to access, plenty of parking (although it was a bit tight due to a men's baseball game happening at the same time) and comfortable seating. The field itself is in beautiful shape. All in all, a really nice place to take in a Big Ten softball game. I think the only downside for me was the loud music that was played during the break between the two games. I love music, but this was turned up way too loud for the size of this ballpark. It made it difficult to talk to friends sitting right next to us. Looking forward to taking in more IU Softball before the season ends, plus IU will host the Big Ten softball tournament this year, so bonus softball!

Everything seemed to be clean and good condition. A fence separates the baseball from the rest of the park. Likewise, the basketball courts are surrounded by a fence. The fields have dugouts and some nice picnic table areas between them. The are lighted and better than average. The complex is named after Chuck Klein AKA the Hoosier Hammer. Klein played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, and Pittsburgh Pirates and led the National League in home runs four times, and won the NL Most Valuable Player Award in 1932. What you may not know is that there is a football field buried behind the softball fields, hence its real name, Chuck Klein Sports Complex. The football field needed a good mowing when I was there and the goal post are adequate. They will get the job done. I really like the patio area in the complex building that is up high and overlooks the fields. There are tables and chairs up there. At the front of the complex, near the entrance is a shelter with picnic tables. Next to the shelter is a horseshoe pit that has seen better days. In addition to that, there is some huge green space surrounding the shelter. You can do a lot of outdoor activities there. So, you do not need to actually be playing an organized sport to enjoy the park. This is a nice place to host a softball tournament or league. They have also hosted rugby, cricket and ultimate frisbee. I visited the park off season, and they were still working on the complex's maintenance. The staff here is awesome as well.

Parking is easy. The ball diamonds are also kept clean and very well maintained. The snack stand is open whenever games are going on. The food is pretty good and reasonably priced for ballpark food. If you're coming to watch someone play ball, bring a chair. There isn't a ton of bleacher space. Bring an umbrella and sunscreen as there is no shade.

They also have a community center and shelter accessible from Q Street with plenty of parking. Parking also is available off Brian Lane Way on the west side of the park. The only negative I had was that I found all the fencing around the different sections of the park (tennis, aquatic area, and skate park) made it difficult to reach the other side of the park without driving out and around the neighborhood to the other side.
