We booked a room online and went to check in. Staff had no idea we were coming, took 20 minutes to get us a key and tried to slug us a $100 key deposit.
When we got to the room, it looked dirty. This was confirmed when we saw the state of the bathroom, like someone had thrown Jif on the shower, a toilet seat that wasn't affixed to the toilet and bare electrical cables in the bathroom.
In the bedside draws we found other peoples clothes and a booking slip from September with a previous guests personal details. Clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time.
Where the TV was supposed to be, there was a dirty steak knife and a bunch of screws, along with a variety of dead bugs.
The 24 hour secure parking is in fact not fenced, not secure and is covered in signs sayings 'park at your own risk'.
Checkout isn't any better, we packed up and went to hand the key back at 830am. Only to discover that no staff are there until 10am. An hour and a half of our time in Sydney spent waiting to hand the key back.
Do yourself a favour. Don't stay here. Your car has better amenities, it's cleaner and probably safer too. Save your money and go out for a nice steak dinner. read more
