The food is always very mediocre when I go. I've not had a good meal here. The Service is quite slow too.

First of all the good points: They were baby friendly, and…read moreprovided a child menu, crayons and stickers. The restaurant seemed clean and there were fresh flowers on the table. The food was fine, fresh tasting, and arrived quickly. It was cheap, we had a two for the price of one deal, and since there were almost a dozen of us it made a great saving. The bad points, however, were: Our waitress seemed utterly uninterested in us, just ordering our initial drinks was challenging. Having taken our food orders and brought the food (see below) she then failed to return to our table. Three times one of our party had to go and request service, and it was quiet in there a when we visited. We got our starters (garlic bread and ciabatta) at the same time as the main courses, which was a bit annoying. We also didn't get a side salad which we had ordered - I asked about this and was just ignored. One of the starters we had ordered was ciabatta with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. When the ciabatta arrived there was oil but no vinegar. I (with some effort) caught the waitress' eye and asked where the balsamic vinegar was, she looked at the plate and helpfully pointed out the olive oil (I had spotted that, thank you). She then went off and returned with an oil/vinegar cruet, which meant we got what we'd ordered - but did lack something in the presentation. I must say the level of service was remarkably poor. We were there for over two hours, but they just failed to attend to our table - they could have probably sold a couple of rounds of drinks, at least. A very minor point perhaps, but might reflect the level of care we seemed to get: If a lady carrying a baby and a nappy changing mat asks for directions to the toilet, where do you direct her? To the baby changing facilities on the ground floor, or upstairs to the women's toilets? This isn't customer care rocket science. I'll leave it there.

This is a very nice restaurant with plenty to offer. There is plenty of food to choose from, but I would particularly recommend going for one of their pizzas'. It also has a very good lunch time menu which is also very good on price. Some of the tables are a bit close together as it isn't the biggest place in the world they have obviously tred their best to maximise on the seating arrangements.
