We initially found them on Viator but Viator was sold out on the date we wanted so I reached out directly via their website and I got a response back that they'll add us to our preferred date. Lucky us! The meeting time was 9am in front of the Westin at the Marina. Not hard to find. There's a 5 minute video and a good intro speech by their biologist Christina. There were 10 of us in the boat plus Christina & captain Cesar. We saw several dolphin pods, we all took turns jumping off the boat to swim with the dolphins. They provide googles, find, vests, protein bars, fruit juice and water. Bucket list item checked. We highly recommend this company. Bring your own towel, sunblock, cash to tip. We arrived back in the meeting point around 12:15pm. There's a lot of lunch places in the marina.

This tour was awesome. We were on a small boat with just 6-8 people and it was so much better than being on a big boat with loads of people. 360 views at all times and the guide Alex was very knowledgeable and considerate of the animals. We saw so many whales and dolphins I lost count, such a great experience. Would recommend!

We definitely got our money's with on this tour. Whales, dolphins, and a group of folks who obviously care about the sea life. If you go, and you want to swim with dolphins, you will likely need to ask as they don't tell you to jump in. But once I did it was very cool.

Our tour was very cool...the boat captain and biologist were very patient. They in no way made us feel rushed and were trying very hard to find the dolphins...which we did end up finding and hey kept moving us with the pod....they took photos and also had some educational time before the tour which was great...they also provided some coffee and snacks before the cruise complimentary and water and soft drinks on the boat....great experience and well worth it! Keep in mind this can be a 3-4 hour+ experience... Also we had 14 people on our tour but it didn't really make any difference...everyone had plenty of time.. One tip: you might bring your own goggles If you prefer over the eyes vs..full mask

Absolutely the most amazing company for water tours. The owners Maru (marine biologist) and Eduardo (NatGeo wildlife photographer) have been working with the dolphin pods and whale populations in Banderas Bay for over 20 years. I went swimming with dolphins in the wild with them a few years ago and it was one of the most magical experiences of my life. The dolphins know this couple very well and swim right up to them before saying hello to the newcomers. This last time I went out for whale watching. Our guide Alex made sure we got to see over 25 different humpback whales. We even got a show from some playful dolphins, a school of manta rays, and a shy sea turtle. We were out for about 4 hours. The tours begin with history and info of the animals you're about to see as well as coffee and toast. Lunch of turkey sandwiches and water/soda are served while on the water. This company is eco friendly too. I can't recommend them enough!

Excellent whale watching trip, fast boat, they zoomed around and we saw many whales, some dolphins and a couple of sea turtles. Nice service.

With the boat tours they tell you exactly when to show up. The computers have all your details and if there's a problem or if you have questions, they help you and are very professional about it. Your ticket is clear- which boat number and trip you're on. They make announcements ahead of time and it's in an orderly fashion. Once on the boat, it's party time. They have different styles of boats depending on your trip but they all are clean and operated by professionals. I'm saying this a lot because when safety matters, you want to know that people are trained for their jobs. We had a highly skilled captain, very entertaining and informative tour guide and many helpful deckhands. We snorkeled (clean equipment), bird watched, saw many whales, sea turtles and went to a secluded beach. All food and drinks provided were tasty and abundant. We arrived back at port safely and highly enjoyed our excursion. If we had more time, we would have done more.

Our swim was VERY interactive and hands-on and they spent a lot of time explaining dolphin behavior. My dolphin's name was Paco, a 7-year-old male. My girlfriend's dolphin's name was Shany, she was a 30 year old female. The trainers we had were absolutely AMAZING!!! For an additional $30 we were also able to book a swim with the sea lions. The entire staff was extremely helpful and thoughtful. We had such a great experience with the dolphin swim that before we left we booked our next adventure to Rhythms of the Night. This was yet another fantastic experience. The boat ride there and back were both a complete blast. Dinner on the island was more than we expected. The show itself blew us away. We will definitely be booking with them when we return to Puerto Vallarta!

The journey begins with a sunset cruise across the breathtaking Bay of Banderas, where the sky transforms into hues of gold and amber, and the ocean breeze sets an immediate sense of calm and anticipation. As the sun dips below the horizon, you're carried toward a secluded paradise accessible only by boat--an untouched stretch of coastline where the evening's magic quietly awaits. Upon arrival, the experience shifts into something almost ceremonial. Guests are welcomed with warmth and intention, guided along torch-lit pathways that wind through lush jungle surroundings. The soft glow of candles, the rhythmic sounds of nature, and the gentle hospitality create an atmosphere that feels both intimate and sacred--a beautiful nod to the region's cultural roots and reverence for the land. Dinner is an experience in itself. Served in a stunning open-air, candlelit setting beneath the stars, the buffet is nothing short of exquisite. From fresh, vibrant salads and artisan breads to decadent desserts and perfectly prepared steak, every element is thoughtfully curated and beautifully executed. The flavors are rich yet balanced, highlighting local ingredients and culinary tradition while maintaining an elevated, refined presentation. And then--the performance begins. ALMA, the heart of Rhythms of the Night, is a masterpiece of storytelling and artistry. Created by Mukhtar Mukhtar with breathtaking scenography by Eugenio Caballero, the show unfolds as a spiritual journey inspired by the soul of the rainforest. Through a mesmerizing blend of acrobatics, contemporary and traditional dance, live music, and mythological narrative, the story channels the energy of the land--guided by the mystical figure of the Guardian of the Rainforest. Every movement feels intentional, every visual element immersive. The performers are exceptional, delivering a level of precision and emotion that captivates from beginning to end. The staging--set against the jungle and illuminated by firelight and subtle theatrical effects--creates a dreamlike atmosphere where the boundaries between nature and performance dissolve. It's not just a show; it's a deeply sensory and emotional experience that evokes wonder, reflection, and awe. After the final act, the evening gently transitions into a more relaxed celebration. Guests have time to take in the ambiance before boarding the boat once more, where the return journey becomes its own joyful finale--complete with music, dancing, and a nightcap under the stars as the coastline of Puerto Vallarta slowly reappears in the distance. From the welcoming ceremony to the final moments on the water, every detail is intentional and beautifully orchestrated. Rhythms of the Night is more than an excursion--it's a cultural and artistic immersion that lingers with you long after the night ends. For anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta, this is an absolute must-do experience that speaks to the soul as much as it delights the senses.

Horseback riding across a "beach" (hardly a beach but ok). The best crew. Honestly the crews with each excursion were great. Really personable, entertaining, and upbeat.

The staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming from the start. Fair warning: the drinks start flowing around 9am, so pace yourself and bring lots of sunscreen -- the sun + cocktails add up quickly. The booze selection is pretty generic, but plentiful, and the snacks along the way are appreciated. The fajita lunch was solid and hit the spot after a morning on the water. Shoutout to Ricky Ricardo, truly the hostess with the mostest -- high energy, fun, and kept the vibe going all day. Luis was also fantastic, constantly checking in and somehow remembering everyone's names, which made the experience feel very personal and welcoming. They even slowed the boat down so we could watch whales, which was a highlight, and having a photographer on board was a nice touch to capture the day. The music on the ride home was a little outdated, but honestly... it just turned into a dance party anyway -- especially once the tequila shots started making the rounds. All in all, a great excursion with a fun crowd, attentive staff, and memorable moments. Easy 4 stars and a solid choice if you're looking for a lively day trip while in Puerto Vallarta.

I loved that everyone had to wear a life jacket for the first 10 minutes of the ride as I was initially nervous about the ride. After the 10 minutes are up, we had the option of continuing to wear the life jacket or take it off. All the instructions they gave were in both English and Spanish. One of the highlights on the way there was the whale watching. We saw a couple of them and it was so cool because it's the very end of the season, so we won't be seeing them again for a few months. Once we got the the island, we had some really good chips and guacamole. There were a few different excursion options for an additional cost. such as hiking to the waterfall, going horseback riding, or driving ATVs. Not sure what the cost for those were. We enjoyed snorkeling in the ocean and swimming in the shallow pool with a bar attached for easy access. I highly recommend this tour. We definitely got our money's worth and more!

He was friendly and told us about the surrounding area, like the new Vidanta World that is being built in Puerto Vallarta. He asked if we wanted to stop for some great seafood, there was no extra cost to make a little stop before we got to our destination. So we said sure, and he brought us to Bucerias and we ate at a nice restaurant where he said they go out to get fresh oysters. The oysters were huge! We enjoyed the meal and he sat with us and he told us some stories. The view was nice since it was sunset time. Afterwards, we went on our way again and he brought us to our hotel.
