I liked that this was a local shop and that there were lots of options for pricing on products. I ordered the Rustic Wildflower Florist Original Bouquet. I requested they send a photo of the bouquet so I could see it since the arrangement I ordered depended on their daily stock, and they sent me a photo before it was delivered! The flowers are beautiful and my friend was surprised and delighted by the fresh, beautiful flowers. I'll be coming back to order more deliveries for any further floral arrangements I need in this area!!

Here's the thing about flower delivery: the recipient doesn't care about how heirloom or exotic the…read moreflowers and vines are. They care about how the flowers look when they get them. That initial reaction is what matters. And when I order a $150 arrangement and pay nearly $200 all-in with delivery for my parents' 47th wedding anniversary and their reaction is, "They're fine...they're pretty..there's branches and carnations," that doesn't make for a happy customer or repeat business. Sweetwater has a website that isn't really user friendly when it comes to ordering. At the time of this review, they advertise a "grand" $88 wrapped bouquet but no way to add the vase even though the description says it can be put into a chic case. That pictured bouquet is in fact grand and plentiful. Because I wanted a vase, I called to place the order. I wanted to support local. I asked them to make a "grand arrangement" with bright colors. You can see what's on their site next to what was delivered for $150 and judge for yourself whether it's worth the price. I get that flowers are subjective. And I appreciate that this florist tried to explain the value when I called. Maybe a professional florist will see the jasmine vines and Veronica and say this is an arrangement worth the price, but the sparseness and stems didn't make the recipient's eyes light up, and that is what matters most.

I tried to work out a mutually agreeable delivery time but a woman who identified herself as Sweetwater's owner was at my door with the arrangement at a time which was hours different than the store employee told me. The arrangement was obviously intended to be special and unique, but the roses buds were already browning and overall it just looked way past its peak! Flowers I've bought at the big grocery stores have lasted much longer than this and I can't imagine the owner of a nice shop delivering something which wasn't fresh!

Not only were the prices incredibly fair, the service was phenomenal and the flowers were beautiful. I included pictures of 2 arrangements that we picked out and one that someone else ordered and was delivered for us well before our service started. The pictures of the wreaths online didn't do justice to how gorgeous these arrangements were. We got exactly what we wanted and what was pictured, only 10 times more pretty in person. I was very impressed and very grateful they made things so easy and effortless for us during such an emotionally stressful time. My mother would have loved the flowers and they filled our home with joy and happiness after the service was over for days.

I was afraid I had waited too late and might not get a satisfactory arrangement due to lack of flower choices. Christian asked me what colors my mom and man did he deliver! I have been sending my mom flowers for decades but was never happy with what she received. I must tell you that I was impressed beyond words. The arrangement they delivered was absolutely full and breath taking. My mother was over joyed and said it looked like a $200 arrangement but in reality, is was far less than that. It's usually the other way around. She said it had 18 different flowers and one that hadn't bloomed yet. I've been getting ripped off for years because I live far away but she sent me pictures and they were so stunning that I got a bit emotional. I called and thanked Christian for going far above and beyond. I highly recommend this company and will use them from now on!! You won't be disappointed!! I just wish we had one here in Alaska. I searched all over the internet, yelp, etc and came up with florists in Castle Rock, Parker, Elizabeth (out of business) and not one would deliver to Elbert. These florists pointed me to other florists none of whom would go to Elbert, either. I was pretty much at my wits end and asked someone else I know who lives in Colorado Springs and she looked on the net and stumbled across Beautiful Expressions in Peyton who would deliver to Elbert. Yahoo! Amber was incredibly patient and helpful and even happily wrote about 16+ names on the sympathy card. By now it was late afternoon and she even offered to deliver the flowers up to the person's home on her way home from work. If the complimentary comments written up under the 'accolades' section on her website are even remotely accurate, it sounds like this shop is special. Certainly Amber was incredibly nice and helpful. Thanks!
