In the beginning it didn't bother me but then it was affecting my mental wellbeing. If your views didn't align with hers she would treat you differently purposely. I guess she felt her views were the only correct views. I hope one day she sees how she is alienating so many women who are sick and need help.

They shut us out because my father had too many daughters. I do have to give a special shoutout to Shyla who advocated for him and was so amazingly kind. The doctors were incongruent week after week. His pain was dismissed. He lost almost 20 pounds in the first week and recorded as lost at the previous hospital, which was completely untrue. By the time he left he was not eating. They blamed everything on the patient and did little investigating. The nurse Christine should retire or find a new profession. While most of the staff was dismissive, she was downright mean. I found him asleep with his face in his dinner tray. He was afraid to drink because the staff never showed up in time to get him to the bathroom. Issues were reported to nursing staff but never relayed to the doctors. After several weeks of "rehab and care" my father died, still unable to move much or eat at all less than 2 months after discharge. If this is the best we can offer, healthcare is truly an abomination.

They left it up to me whether or not I wanted to try for a VBAC, they are very supportive of whatever choices you make. They did seem to try to push the genetic testing with my third daughter but since I was low risk I decided it wasn't a big deal, especially since I had trouble with my insurance. They worked with me as much as possible until I got it sorted out, changed my appointments and sonogram date so I didn't have to pay out of pocket while I was waiting on the insurance to go through. They're always professional, no matter what type of embarrassing stuff would come up they always put me at ease.
