Upon entering there is always a warm and friendly greeting from staff who obviously appreciate you being there. The menu boasts so many options to suit absolutely every person regardless of dietary preference. During our first visit we ordered a lovely latte and milkshake, which was undoubtedly the best we had ever tasted! From a coffee lovers point of view, it outweighed all competition tasting so fresh you'd think they grew the beans in the back garden! The milkshakes are equally as awesome and straight away you can tell its made from only the freshest of ingredients while you wait. I pretty much lived on the strawberry and mango milkshake for my weeks holiday and im definitely feeling withdrawal symptoms now im back home! We also tried several of the food options during our stay, which included some amazing bacon sarnies and what had to be the best plate of nachos we could ever dream of! Unlike many of the other cafe's and restaurants the prices are also extremely modest for what you get. This cafe's absolutely faultless, and I promise anyone visiting it will love bopping to Bob Marley while consuming some of the finest food and drink in the country! We cant wait to return once the uni terms over!! Very best of luck you guys, was amazing meeting you all! Take care :] Joe and Han x (P.s we managed to get back to the Midlands without the M25 in the end!!)

My 6yr old and I nipped in at 6:30PM on a recent trip to St Ives and couldn't have been more impressed. The decor is trendy, the service is excellent and the food is excellent. The waitress found us some space tucked in the corner at a little bar area but we were seated in minutes. The menu is interesting and there are lots of 'quirky' GBK style things. Great if you like that sort of stuff but I'm a cheeseburger guy and that's what I had. Rupert (the tiny taster) had a children's burger, which was still £6 but he ate the lot - and he's a burger aficionado. In short - this is a great place but expect to pay London prices for a premium burger. The real differentiator is their desire to do everything in the 'right' way. All of the decor is reclaimed, the meat is locally and organically sourced, even the cola is non-branded and made with agave nectar (instead of high-fructose corn syrup). My only complaint (more of an observation really) is that the music is quite loud - great for atmosphere but it was all a bit much for a very tired 6yr old. If you enjoy a good burger and you're happy to pay for it then you must try out this trendy joint.

We had the SunFlower Burgers which was exec Elle this the chip were great to. The staff were helpful and friendly willing to help. The only problem I had was the tables are really big so Vegans may have to sit with meat eaters which I would not do to be honest. Other then that great. Just needs to be more tables.

We probably should have booked, but we were tourists and didn't know any better! Luckily we got in! Our hostess and waitress was very friendly and chatty and clearly had a passion for this restaurant. 40% of their food is grown on their own plot, everything is fresh and the have a great selection of organic beers and wines. The chef came out and personally answered all our questions and was just a great passionate guy. I imagine the menu changes seasonally, but I can recommend the homemade bread and olives. OMG. Amazing. Our mains were creative, delicious and meticulously presented. The desserts were perfect- have the special, whatever it is it will be the best! I would definitely come back her again!

Hooray for vegan pasties!!!!! Pretty sure this is the only, or maybe one of VERY FEW places in St…read more Ives to do a VEGAN pastie. Coming to Cornwall and walking past bakery after bakery of pastries and cakes as a vegan can be super depressing because even regular vegetarian pastries almost always contain egg or dairy, but not this place!!! Their vegetarian pastie is also suitable for vegans!!! (the staff are knowledgeable, but it also specifies this on the sign) I was so excited at being able to eat a pastry, I took mine right down to the seafront to eat only for a seagull to flap around my head and steal it *tries not to cry as everyone around me laughs* was extremely heart-breaking... But no matter I marched straight back to buy a replacement, explaining to the staff that no I hadn't just eaten a giant pastie and wanted a second (I wish) we all laughed and I continued to cry on the inside, but my second pastie definitely hit the spot and made me forget all about the thieving seagulls! So yes I highly recommend to all my fellow vegans to come to this place, so you don't have to watch on as everyone around you eats Cornish pasties while you can not. You CAN eat a Cornish pastie and nothing, not even seagulls or dairy or eggs can stop you!

The pastry on the pasty was lovely and flaky, however I would have liked a bit more flavor to the actual filling. We also got a sausage roll that was excellent!
